12:25, you can actually prioritize what direction sackboy will grab by holding the the left stick in what direction you want to grab before holding R1, so you could have the player hold up to prioritize grabbing the other player instead of the ground

Thinking about the team jump on sponge; doesn't the left stick control what you're going to grab in LBP 1? You'd have to be a layer back but if it's like 2 and 3 I'm sure this would work
