    I am very artistic person and everytime I do something artistic, like dyeing paper with coffee, my family always get disgusted on how smelly and dirty it looks but they had the opposite reaction when they see the results of me using it on something like on a scratchbook or art projects pftt, love it!!

      Look, I hear you, all of you, my parents and family, have been against anything n everything I've ever done and or tried to do, I've always been the black sheep in the family, for sure, it was rough but I made it and now I'm 39 and the best I've ever been in my entire life. A few pieces of advice, learned the hard way, but number one is BE TRUE TO YOURSELF AND YOUR CREATIVE TALENTS, BE A LEADER NOT A FOLLOWER, SO YOU DO THINGS DIFFERENT AND THATS OKAY IN FACT IT'S BETTER! When people who are rich go buy some work of art by a famous artist, spending millions, most of those famous artists dealt with exactly what you're talking about. Or they were told they'd never be able to do whatever it was they were trying to do. Many famous artists also have one of a kind pieces that usually looks "weird" and it's about perception. Some think roses are beautiful, I think daisies are? The only other thing is that were not promised tomorrow, and idk about you but I don't wanna just talk about it, I love being creative artistically and I don't do it for any other reason, I don't sit down and make something, with my end goal being to please everyone else except me? Maybe if you're making a gift, but that's different. Whenever you do whatever your art may be, follow your heart and your gut and do it with your head held high. Screw the cookie cutter bs and you are perfect just the way you are! As soon as you learn and truly believe that, the confidence will radiate from you naturally and the haters will be left mouth wide open stuttering. Just smile and walk away knowing that you're kick butt just like you are!! We're not Barbies were human. Love one another. ✌️ 💜 🎶

    Love these ideas! I have used used teabags to "age" scratches in the floor and unglazed ceramic frames. I have also used the teabags themselves as craft stock.

    I lived in Ghana and Tanzania, years ago, where they have artists that "paint" with coffee and salt. I bought quite a few pieces that is still in one of my boxes that I need to have framed. I have one painting of an African woman on a bicycle done with coffee and salt.

    • @MixitupMarci
      @MixitupMarci  Před 3 lety +2

      ooohhhh wow, they must be beautiful, i love coffee and coffee painting, and btw, since you have them in boxes, i will recomend you look for my magnetic frame video, i made them for so cheap, almost cost me nothing, and i use them for my kids drawings since they are growing and change interest so much, its fun because we can interchange them easily and display the one they like best at the moment, i really think they will be cool for your paintings because you can exchange them by season too, and i know frames can be expensive, where do you live now? Tanzania is one of the places i want to go to, find culture is totally different, what do you think? do you miss it?

    Great idea, my favorite was also the bubbles. How long did they take to dry?

    • @MixitupMarci
      @MixitupMarci  Před 3 lety

      well, they all take different times to dry, but like an hour for the bubbles since they need to just be there and not get popped with air flow, but others have mini puddles like the blowing with the straw one and so it depends on air flow and the amount of coffee, but within the hour they should be dry. =) hope that helped. have a great day!
