We rescued a 1964 F100 Flareside! First time out of the woods in 17 years! Still a few good bones!

- Hey Guys & Gals, welcome back to the channel! This episode we show a 1964 Ford F100 Flareside that we rescued from the woods of the Wytheville VA area. This truck had been sitting for 17 years. As you will see in the video there is no title and the truck is rusty and rotted out overall but has some usable parts (some of which we really needed for the Pickle Project.) Wish we could have gotten a little more video of the whole retrieval process but we had to “make hay” with the short time we had to get home. It was a blessing to find this truck to meet our needs. We continue to pray good health and blessings for the precious lady who was selling the old truck. And again, BIG THANK YOU to our buddy Jason! You are a blessing brother!

Yes sir. I agree completely. I'm going to save as many pieces as I can. I might try to put the bed on another truck, and use the hood as well. The doors may be usable too.

It was fun to go with you and pull this truck out of the woods! Wild to think how long it was there and that it still has a few good parts left. Glad we could get it before there was nothing of left of it. I think we all can relate to this truck in some way… feeling stranded, in the wilderness, broken down, forgotten. A lot of us were wore down and weathered but thankfully we’re still beneficial to the Lord’s plan, He has a renewed purpose for us and He is still more than happy to rescue us and save us from being a total loss.

My grandpa’s truck was raven black with the red interior. I’m guessing that’s the original steering column.
