    Here is a quick and simple video on how to replace the dead / weak battery in your Subaru key fob. You're going to need a new 2032 coin cell battery and a small/medium flat blade screwdriver will be helpful. First step is to press the silver button on the back and remove the mechanical key. Next step is to take the screwdriver and pry the two halves apart. You can use the mechanical / physical key you just pulled out but a screwdriver is much easier. Once you pry that off, you have access to your dead 2032 battery. Place the new one + side facing upward and close it back up. That is it! You're all set! No need to reprogram.
