Ingredients:
Chicken pieces
Arvi (Taro Root)
Onions
Tomatoes
Ginger-Garlic Paste
Basic spices (salt, red chilli powder, turmeric,zeera or coriander powder)
Green chilies
Fresh coriander leaves
Directions:
Heat oil in a pot and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
Add chicken pieces and cook until they change colour.
Add basic spices (salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder) and cook for a few minutes.
Add peeled and chopped arvi (taro root) and mix well.
Add water and bring it to a boil. Then, cover and let it simmer until the chicken and arvi are cooked through.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and green chillies.
Enjoy this delicious chicken and Arvi Ka Salan with rice or roti. It's perfect for a cosy family meal. Happy cooking
