This approach makes sense. It's a shame other phone makers 3 years later don't adopt what OnePlus/Oppo started back with Dash Charge.
I have a feeling it's because Oppo/OnePlus have patented this technology, that's why other manufacturers have stuck to Qualcomm QuickCharge or Power Delivery. The latter is a more widely adopted technology anyways, even if it isn't as good as VOOC.

I didn't hear about oppo until mighty oppo find x2 pro came. And change my opinion so i switched from iphone 11 pro to this mighty phone. Ceramic edition. Great design great and great everything except don't have wireless charging

get your facts right... the reno (1) had a sd710, and yes while the reno 4 does have a sd720g it still has a higher geekbench score than the reno 2 with its 730g

Hoot! Not only Reno 4 have SuperVOOC, but Reno 5 series 5G though. But Reno 5 4G is SuperVOOC is converted to 50W Flash Charge.
When I first got my OPPO Reno 4 pro I thought it's super fast charging is fake 😅. Now I can't live without or go back to a lower voltage charger. Oppo 💚😘.

That really looks fake and fishy until you experience it. I made a purchase 2 years back and really was shocked how efficiently it works and continue to work. No heat so spark 2 years. Sadly the unbraided cable is the issue. Oppo should make resilient stuff when thier tech is proprietary since you really will have hard time finding another cable when it breaks which it will do.

First of all try to provide proper android 10 update to the previous reno series devices(reno 10x zoom).
Full of bugs.
Guys better stay away from oppo devices.
Software support is very poor.
I'm using the flagship reno 10x zoom and the updates they provide makes the device perform like budget device(10k device?).
I can't even make calls using my device.
I've been here as a trial volunteer for about 8 months and still no proper updates or response from the developer team. 😡😡
