I have gastroparesis and intestinal dysmotility, due to having hypermobile type Ehlers Danlos syndrome. Thankfully Mestinon has done a good job at treating it for me.
I love all these videos, they’re so helpful. I’ve recently started working with an ED recovery coach after a recent relapse, ten years after last going to treatment. The problem now, as opposed to 10 years ago, is I have so many underlying chronic conditions that are not caused by by ED. A few include, hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome, MCAS, gastroparesis, POTS/Dysautonomia, and the list goes on. I’m really trying to find a provider who can offer tile health services, but I see my state (Kentucky) is one of the very few who are not included in the list (which I’m sure is a KY state-level issue, this isn’t the first time it’s happened), but I wanted to reach out and see if any of you there had advice for where I could find someone who really “gets” both sides of things, specifically in patients who have been suffering for so many years (18 years here), and who can offer tell health services to KY. If not, I get it. Not asking fir medical advice, just can’t seem to find anyone who understands how it’s all intertwined, who also can offer services to KY clients,
So glad the videos are helpful and to hear that you're working with a coach! We often see this constellation of symptoms and diagnoses; you're not alone. We can obtain licensure in KY (we don't typically move forward with licensure without a patient in the state) so please do reach out if you'd like to chat more. We don't know of any ED specialist physicians in KY, unfortunately.
Im 15 and 3 months ago my paerants bought burgers and I couldn't Evan eat half of the burger I didn't know why so I thought I probably just ate already too much. but after that day I eat less then I used to . I ate less because I feel full and if I eat more I feel like I'm forcing my self to eat . When I make my self eat a whole burger I feel really sick and bloated . After that in the morning I would still feel a bit sick and I wouldn't feel hungry and I would loose my apatite whereas before I would always wake up feeling hungry and excited for breakfast. Also I get this weird feeling that goes up my thought and it feels like an air bubble I don't know what this is or if this is normal but does anyone know what this is cause I'm a bit worried so I decided to search my symptoms

Not all gastroparesis is caused by eating disorder. I'm diagnosed with gastro prices and never did I ever have an eating disorder
