Well thats because at this point Trey was pretty wrapped up in his pedals and synth so we have lots of jams where he essentially checks out and lets the other 3 take the reins.
The audience started clapping to the beat during the bliss spell at the traditional end of the song and it was amazing.. So the band kept going into a deep jam. Longest mango I can remember.
Can't believe I saw this 20 years ago... Still the best Phish show I've seen, and I'm biased, but would put up against 6/14 and 7/11 for best show of 2000. Great stuff, and a bass jam before Free. Wow.
Don't sleep on the hour and 50 min first set! Guyute, Gin, Limb, Lawn Boy, Fluffhead, Curtain With, Chalkdust. Set 2 was icing. Pure, unadulterated, diabetes-inducing icing.
