In this video, I'm giving one of my loyal clients his signature skin fade! He's been coming to me every few weeks for years now, and in this video I’m going to walk you through step by step how I do it. (I finished it off using an electric shaver, so it is a razor tight bald fade. I just forgot to press record lol)

Yo Marv, dope cut! I have to make a complaint, only cuz this is the second time I seen you do this. Before you cut into the front hairline, pull the bangs back to see what the hairline looks like. Since this dude is receding, you should have stayed an inch away from the perimeter of his front hairline. Then blend that one inch perimeter into the bulk on top by detailing. Next, line his edge up & if the front hairline looks too bulky, freehand the top to shave it down a bit until the front hairline flows into the bulk. Never just slap a guard on & cut into the front hairline while taking down bulk. You will cut too much off the bangs every time. The goal is to make the hairline look fuller. Also, maybe cutting this client with the grain would've been better. I consider myself a receding hairline specialist so just nitpicking on the hairline. Really just a bit of constructive criticism but overall the cut was decent. Thanks for the vid. Detail work was phenomenal.
