  • I could not find this, rare song anywhere on You tube so here it is as extracted from Beta Gems Lost Media (so, rightly credited here) full concert upload 'Procol Harum 9-19-93 SDSU San Diego' which, at present, has had very few views.

Apologies to them for being unable to replace their screenshot.
This track is on the 'All This and More' cd/dvd compilation.
Pretty amazing musicianship to incorporate so many PH pieces in one.
Line-up: Gary Brooker (RIP) - piano and vocals; Mathew Fisher - organ; Geoff Whitehorn - guitar; Matt Pegg - bass; Ian Wallace (RIP) - drums.
Within this tune, in chronological order, there are musical and lyrical references to (as best I can make out): Ghost Train; A Salty Dog; Glimpses of Nirvana; Whisky Train; Barnyard Story; Twice Removed From Yesterday (Trower's); Conquistador; A Whiter Shade of Pale; A Salty Dog; Whisky Train; Whaling Stories; Strangers in Space; (maybe) The Worm and the Tree; Grand Finale; Rambling On; Twas Teatime at the Circus; The Devil Came From Kansas; The Piper's Tune; Skip Softly My Moonbeams; Homburg; Wreck of the Hesperus and A Salty Dog but not sure what Geoff plays at about 4.30 ?

Very much a Procol's song, with a wink to other hits as PANDORA BOX, A SALTY DOG or CONQUISTADOR, me love Gary Brooker deep soul vocals, he's always on my mind, a composer of unique class...

Saw them in Cincinnati on Sept. 10, 1993 (they opened for Jethro Tull) a few days prior to this recording. Heard this song and loved it and have been searching for it ever since! (I'm a reasonable PH fan but not enough to spend $100 on the box set.) Couple times a year I search for it on CZcams and it is finally here! Thanks so freakin' much!

To the best of my knowledge, it was never on any album including any of the download only ones issued in recent years. Correction: It is on the 'All This and More' cd/dvd compilation.
Apparently, in it's original form, it was over 30 minutes long ! (source: Geoff Whitehorn on the Beyond The Pale website).
