But Mike was also infamous for a number of revolting things, not the least of which was his rape of Desiree Washington. He literally bit off part of Holyfield's ear, and his behavior before the Lewis fight was beyond despicable in any context. Glass jaw? No, but here are the facts: Tyson was knocked out or quit (which he did twice in the ring) more times than any man to have ever held the linear heavyweight championship. He got knocked out or quit in every fight where he got knocked down, and never once came back from a fight that he was losing. Ya' got that? He never ONCE rose from a knockdown to win, or even FINISH a fight, and he never even went the distance, and got destroyed by the only two all-time great heavyweights he ever faced, both of whom were older than him, and no 38 yo Holmes when Tyson was 17 years younger doesn't count. So "glass jaw" maybe not, but there's many good reasons why Ring Magazine didn't even list him among honorable mentions in their list of the all-time greatest heavyweights.
