I so appreciate you putting us entrepreneurs up on free game! :) Quick question - do you freehand cutting the labels or do you use a cutting machine? I'm afraid my labels won't be straight if I freehand and the paper doesn't appear to be perforated. I appreciate you, TIA!
No problem. I do both. Sometimes I might free hand or use a paper trimmer. Now I'm using my cricut machine to perforate the sticker label sheets.

When you make your labels in Canva change background of template. Make sure to print in color.

I was so happy to find this video , I even bought the paper . Just now went to print my labels and you have to pay to use online labels 😭 everything is getting so difficult to do anything now !
Yess same! I purchased my own labels from Amazon, just to get to the website and see that I have to pay for their labels. I thought it was a way around that since she said she bought her own labels. I'm hoping this will be a 1 time purchase and I could use my order number to activate my account and then I can print my own labels going forward
Yea, I know. You can use Avery or Canva. It's free.

Great video! How did you make sure your lettering conformed to FDA regulations on sizing and spacing? That part is confusing me so much 🤦🏾♀️
I don't think the FDA cares about sizing and spacing, but it's just better for the design
@@ericacon9925 Yes, they care. The label and print must be of specific size and she also should NOT make claims of "moisturizing, etc." for skin because now the product will be classified it as a drug and will need to be approved. Knowing these laws is important.
Follow the laws and avoid any trouble.
Do I need to put ingredients on lipgloss packaging?
No you don’t have to but you can if you want.
What size labels did you use for your whipped body soap?
It's 11.1 x 5 cm 🙂

Canon printer. The model is discontinued. I had mine for over 10 yrs. It's very old. Any Canon printer would be good.

I get them from different container wholesalers and sometimes Amazon might have them. Uline has them too.

Unfortunately, they are showing currently unavailable on Amazon. I would recommend ordering onlinelabels.com 8.5 x 11 label sheets. Better quality.
As someone who started a hair care business would you recommend starting with 1-2 products or 3-5?
1-3 So You Can See How They Sell While Also Giving Your Customers A Variety To Choose From. Maybe Try With Products That Work Hand In Hand So Customers Purchase More Than 1 At A Time🥰 Hope That Helps

The online labels site keeps asking for a activation code before being able to print. What do I do?
Select print labels - Select Print Now - under activation code - Select continue printing with watermark. There will be a watermark at the top of the page. You can adjust your labels to print with the water mark at the top, but you should be able to print your labels and cut. I just tested it on regular printing paper and it came out good. Hope this helps.
