I got this one second hand and very cheap as a midi controller for the virtual instruments on my macbook when I am on the way, but this version also has it’s own sounds onboard and can be used in standalone mode (powered by USB or AA batteries). So I had to try out, what the internal engine is capable of. The sounds aren’ t really studio quality but with the built in filter, simple envelope, eq, reverb/chorus effects, arpeggiator and note repeat you can definitely have some fun jamming and tweaking. I think it sounds definitely better and has more sound shaping possibilities than any other affordable small keyboards produced nowadays, making it suitable even for kids which - who knows - one day might grow up into using it as controller for other sw/hw instruments 🤓✌️

thanks bro, i would say to try adjust the sounds with filter and effects, than also arpeggio is cool, you can turn on latch and try different options holding arp+pressing keyboard keys. plus if you play drums, you can turn on note repeat and on the keys as well change the different measures (for hat rolls for example) hope this helps, it is all in the manual, so go through it and have fun!
