  • During World War II, parents of Irena Senderska-Rzońca (b. 1931), Józef and Helena Krzyształowski, helped Jews, the Bandera family, during the Holocaust in Borysław (today within the borders of Ukraine). In 2000, Irena Senderska-Rzońca and her family were honoured with the title of Righteous Among the Nations. We present her account from the oral history collection of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
