    I'm a poker dealer. The all-in should stand. That is a universal rule.

    • @BluffaloSam
      @BluffaloSam  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I know :( a couple players told me the ruling at that casino is "if someone IN the hand would like it to stand, they can verbal it, and it does stand." Weird rule, even weirder for the dealer not to let me know about it.

    Congrats. I'm not surprised though. To all the new viewers bear in mind that had it gone the other way Sam's attitude would be the same before the start of the next session. Mental game is so on point. When the challenge is accomplished that will be what allowed it to happen. There are players far superior without the mental game that would not accomplish this challenge.

    In regards to the all-in out of turn:
    So, in many casinos the 5/10 game is typically the biggest game running. To keep these big players happy, many casinos tend to have the players police themselves. It's a weird phenomenon but, that's likely why you were said it depends if you complain about it. The other thing is the 5/10 game runs like many 3/6 limit games. The players tend to all know each other, tend to be older... More about just throwing around money and enjoying the time at the table more than really trying to do this game professionally.

    In ur KK hand, seat 2 was definitely angling, because 1) the button, before it was moved 1 inch by seat 7, is clearly in the middle of the end of the table, so it is clearly in front of seat 7, not next to the human dealer, which is the seat ur in next to the human dealer, and 2) if he wasnt angling, he would have gone all in again after u checked like he supposedly meant to do initially. Instead he checked for the free card that his angle was intended to receive. Notice the board, JT, a popular hand that is often called for a raise, makes an open ended draw there, which is a hand someone can angle with, aside from a flush draw. Prior to u stating in the vlog that he had JT, I knew he had either JT or 2 hearts. You cant assume that an angle-like action is not an angle. You have to protect ur pot/hand. If action is reset back to u because a player acted out of turn and u didnt call a floorman to enforce the angler's shove, ur intended c/r is out the window and u now should bet ur hand for protection/value. It might have worked out in ur favor this time, but most of the time it wont. You said LP and angler had some words after. Im guessing LP accused him of the angle?

    99: Solver check-calls down almost 100%. Combo draws are usually calling your raise, the other calling hands have you beat, and you have good draws against a very small portion of those hands (2pr).
    JTdd: You got lucky that he decided not to bet the river.

    • @BluffaloSam
      @BluffaloSam  Před 10 měsíci +1

      The raise was quite exploitative, I don't think I need to get to River with some strong call downs vs someone who isn't going to exploit it.
      JTdd, you don't think he's folding to a raise? Looked like he was sizing around a $250ish bet

    LA players learn to just check to the guy who played out of turn. It gives away no info, and more importantly, doesn't allow the dealers to make up lousy rulings, or worse, involve a floor man.
    Still, nice that it worked out for you. The pots you don't lose are often more important than the ones you win!

    How on earth is an out of turn action not binding if action hasn’t changed?? That’s insane, I’ve literally never played in a room in my entire life where this would not have been ruined a valid allin if you had checked. I’ve played in a lot of rooms and seen this situation come up more then you would think, it’s literally been ruled as a bet if action doesn’t change 100% of the time. If those are indeed the rules at Commerce that is just a god awful egregious house rule.

    • @richardsimmonsjuggernautof9781

      Just heard your follow up. You have to complain about it for it to stand? That’s just ludicrous, this isn’t it how it works anywhere else. You ask if it stands if you check, dealer will say yes, you check, he has to shove, nobody thinks twice about it.. Honestly sounds like dealer doesn’t know wtf he’s talking about, glad it ultimately saved you money

    I’m a has been poker vlogger myself (barely ever was). One of the things that kept me from filming at the table was how tedious it was to fill with my iPhone. This is because of the way the camera is situated on the iPhone.

      @@BluffaloSam I meant as in you just let the action play out when UTG jammed out of turn, then once HJ makes his action , you can call and UTG can't reverse his action. As this has happens all the time the best thing to do is protect yourself. Say something if you wanted to bet and people tried to check out of turn, and in reverse if someone wants to bet out of turn then check and let them. I wouldn't make any sort of weird scene about it or ask a bunch of questions because as you saw it will just freeze the action as people get suspicious if someone is angling

I honestly find it hard to believe you’ll get a fold from better at too high of a frequency there.
