this video made me think a lot about how I buy. I tend to make similar arguments in my head, like "I could wear it this way, if I leave these buttons open, if I curl the sleeves, if if I tie it on the waist, etc "(I'm a sn too), but in the end I find myself with a lot of things that I don't wear because they don't fall well on my body, or they only fit me if I put them in a certain way that is not obtainable while wearing them during the day... At the same time it is difficult to give away clothes that you paid for and put on a few times... (Sorry for my english, it's not my first language)

i do love your sn content, but what i love most about being a sn is our shoulders! that sort of sharp and wide shoulder that we have is actually the beauty standard in south korea. there are girls trying to open up their shoulders and make them more sharp and angular like ours are naturally. i think it's time we really embrace and show off our shoulders as sn's

Dark hair, pale skin, light eyes, so beauteous! Yes I think you could be a cool winter. It’s tricky, but there are good quizzes out there. The one that I think is most effective is looking at color of the veins on the underside of your wrists. My son has similar coloring w dark hair, pale skin, and he looks amazing in cool emerald green, cobalt blue, light blue, dioxazine purple, alizarin crimson, stark white, cool black, and cool grey. (Heehee I do watercolor, this the highly specific color names.) Not 100% sure so of course take that w a grain of salt since I don’t have all the deets!
I recently have picked a few celebrities from decades that I love the styles from, really any decade before the year 2000, haha, who have body type and coloring similar to mine and get inspiration from their photos, tho I’m sure you’ve thought of that! Off the top of my head, maybe Jennifer Connelly for you? Not sure! Not many people have your coloring, you are so lucky! Oh and I don’t know if you have tried empire waists for clothes? Just a thought!

I know this is probably too late but that plan black silk button up shirt could be worn in a twist backwards if it’s a size or 2 bigger. It turns it into a crop top with a cute twist in the front. I haven’t done it before but I’ve seen it done. I loved the black and gold top.
You may want to look into House of Colour. They drape you in different colors in natural lighting to determine your season and your wow colors. They give you a color fan and a book. I had mine done at the beginning of this year and it has helped me a ton.
Hi Ashley! Just started watching your videos and I'm just LOVING your approach on the SN body type (which is also mine)! I've searched for your IG but couldn't find you, what's your handle? Have you changed it since you posted this video? Anyways, just a tip, I'm not sure you're not a soft summer, because seeing on video is hard to have accurate color intensity, but a rule of thumb is that harmony is created when you repeat what you already see in you. Therefore, sometimes, rather than complicating things by trying to follow an extensive and tricky color theory (as the seasonal method) maybe try the Zyla method, it's much simpler and practical and overall accurate. 1- You have high contrast (blue eyes, fair skin, dark brown hair, dark eyebrows and eyelashes) so try repeating that in your makeup and outfits as well (depth of colour), so the pastels would only work for you if you wear them combined with something that adds a bit more contrast. 2- You have beautiful blue eyes, so repeating that color in your clothes is a big win! That soft blue top you had on was beautiful and made your eyes pop, so that's the gist of it❤ 3- Pay attention to the color/shade of pink your lips or cheeks get when you blush, take a picture of it, select drawing, and when choosing a colour, select "pick" color (the one you can select a color from the picture, i forgot the name of the tool haha) and you can select the color that's showing on your lips or cheeks. Save that color because it'll be your perfect blush and lipstick shade. You can also take a picture of a finger, pressing it so the tip of the finger has more concentration of blood, and do this same thing. 4- If that's your natural color in your hair, focus on the lighter points of it as well as the darkest. Note how red or golden the hair turns, and try repeating those shades as well in your makeup and clothes. That's way easier and may even help you when figuring out which color palette you belong to, as those shades should appear in one of them. Hope this helps❤✨

I never really liked being a "soft natural" because of my broad shoulders and larger ribcage and lack of hips and a tiny waist, however, I am just starting to love my body now. Thank you for making me see that even the "plain or unglamorous" bodies can be beautiful!

You're being too harsh on you darling. I agree w you about the black and gold blouse, but all the other staff you need to give them another chance, I think, you need a little bit of inspo. Maybe red lips, a smokey eye or some piece of jewelry. I' m DC. And the clothes you tried are ver DC. Soft natural clothing is quite different...
If I had to guess, I'd say you're in the classic family, you've got a more graceful than sporty sort of vibe and the natural elements in some of your clothes look too casual.
Soory, your are Not a soft summer. Compare yourself with Real Peapel. Try high contrast Winter. You habe this typical high contrast light blue eyes with your dark hair. Summer have no contrast. Special the soft summer. Maybe you Look great in light blue. But Not with gray. But with Black.....
True and Cool Summers absolutely can have some contrast between eyes and hair. I don't agree that she is extremely high contrast, and she doesn't look harmonious in black the way you would expect from a winter. She looks lovely in summer colors!
