    Would this not melt??? Cuz i made a couple sails last weekend with white bakers chocolate and i Made them fairly thick to make sure they don’t crack, but it totally softened and then broke in half on top of my cake. Luckily it didn’t cause too much damage and i was able to fix the smudges, but I’m glad it happened then and not while i was en route to the destination. That would’ve been a disaster.

      You'd need to chocolate to be tempered to avoid melting

    What paint did you use? I tried lustre dust with alcohol but it just wouldn't work, I ended up using it dry and it covered much more of the chocolate but it still wasn't shiny enough for me and didn't cover it all

    • @ib9203
      @ib9203 Před 6 lety +1

      MrSasyB you must be using shimmer dust, you need gold dust

      @CookingisfunWithFirdaus Před 5 lety

      Hi, you can use water or lemon juice or even olive oil.
      1 tsp golden dust powder
      1/2 tsp water or oil.
      Make fine paste n apply on the chocolate and let it dry.
