Good explanation... but i am quite afraid of my tomorrow's exam as there are so many dates and events and names in this ch... And not only in this chapter... In every chapter it is so difficult to learn those.... and all these come under just history..... i have so much remaining syllabus ab lag ra hai pahle hi padh lena chahiye tha 😂geo ch 2 is quite lengthy and so much learning left in that too and civics is all about understanding.... it is so hard to manage all the topics in exam times.... all the best everyone 😅who are suffering like me...hope you do really 👍 good

The Doctrine of Lapse was an annexation policy followed widely by Lord Dalhousie when he was India’s Governor-General from 1848 to 1856. It was used as an administrative policy for the extension of British Paramountacy.
Tipu Sultan denied trade with East India Company which aggravated them and this led to wars between Tipu & the EIC.
