All of those people are flocking out of metro manila and goes to their hometown provinces during holy week to spend their time with their families and to celebrate the holy week season, that is why its empty, some also go to the beaches to relax

You had the same reaction to holy week last year. Kim, As you know, Filipinos are very religious people, and this is one time when they express their deep faith. You should try to experience the holy week in the Philippines, as in joining the church activities and activities, processions, etc. Get out of Manila and go to the provinces during this time. Maybe next year…
