Bartica has a lot of history in that cemetery. They have some graves from the early Dutch settlers dating back to a few hundred years. And they are well maintained to preserve the history. Someone did a video on it. Can’t remember who!

Looks much different from around 1990 last time i was there. lots more houses, and that river beach front was not like that.
