Great video. Very informative and entertaining too. My vote is for the cut hammered. I would love to find one of those some day.
Gary, what I have found best on iron infested sites is just dig it all! This is better if you plan to return for additional searches. I take a three-gallon bucket with me to put all the junk into that I dig up. I also remove all glass, plastic, and other junk finds just to help clean up the site. This has helped me as well as my fellow TH'ers make some really nice finds! I have also noticed that many good items are masked by the iron targets. I also do a lot of my TH'ing in US Civil War sites so many of the iron targets are keepers; canon shell frags, gun parts, horse tack, etc. Congrats on the Roman finds! ;-)
Well done Gary. Installed the Sonar. Going on a group hunt Sat. Old WW2 base and POW camp here in OK USA. Going to give it a shot.

Please do an update on the SIFTER program as well with the newer coils. That program was a winner for me!
Was on a pasture field full of foil, shotties and iron. I was wasting time digging so switched the top tone from 9 to 73! Non stop coins 😀

At the 5:02 time stamp. I believe that was a double sided religious pendant. I have found the same exact thing about a year ago.

Man! You are absolutely scarring me with your knowledge....
I found a Victorian toolbox full of tools about a ft. down. It was badly corroded and so were the tools but I had what I could Sand blasted and have some really special Victorian heavy duty spanners, Wrenches and Chisels. I found them with my Fisher, I now have a Deus but it's taking me time to get my head around it. I am noticing an instant difference in the quality of finds in general though.
That ring was really nice, but I'll take those coins too!

Beautiful stone in that ring. Wish i could spend the money too get the Deus. Just not in the cards for me i suppose.
I just picked up another Deus like new to go along with my equinox tough to put the nox down just found a gold ring a 22 gram 14k necklace and 11 silver coins!

Hi Gary. This is an interesting video, like. I also like to conduct searches among iron, xp deus is very good for this. But I want to ask about something else. In this video, you do not have factory headphones. Why do you use others, what advantages does it give, and what are your preferences in this?

Hello thanks for the video on the soar setting however i find that when i access program 9 on my machine it says basic not hot ? can you advise please where i find the hot programe as it is not accessible . thanks Geoff

Thx again for that clip, Gary! I use the „Sonar“ (31 kHz) since last year for coinhunting on infested areas-it‘s awesome. I also own a x35 coil. Are there any changes to be made, using the „Sonar“ with the 11“ x35?

Sonar is great only had my deus 5 days and on sonar I'm finding lots 🍺 🍻
I've just added the Sonar program to my Deus but don't know how to add more than one letter when naming a new program? Help appreciated :)

Best find is subjective, but I like the cut half coin the best.
