    Paramotor landing is glider control if it's done correctly. Here SUPERDELL explains what the perfect landing is and a quick assessment of the many schools that don't have a clue what they are doing vs some pilots that do have pretty good skills. This gives you the ability to understand what the perfect landing looks like so you can try to find the 1 and only school in the world teaching these skills resulting in students SHOWING these skills.

      Well maybe not the best landing on earth but certainly an incredible landing from a brand new student who had never touched a glider in his life 9 days before this video.

    I like using power and adding brakes when I land. It really makes landings smooth and predictable.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  Před rokem

      For sure once you can do a foot drag for miles without fail then every landing should be power on. You come into a foot drag and then add brakes as you let off power. It's all about the timing of it to make it perfect every time.

    Super Dell! Where ya been? I miss your updates and explanations! Have you ever flown in Thailand? if so can you recommend any great LZs? Also, my desire is to fly a trike instead of foot launching. Do you train trikes? If so, is all this beachfront kiting still necessary prior ?

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  Před rokem

      Yes I have flown in Thailand. The Island of Koh Larn is just awesome. You can see my videos about it on my channel here. Yes I train for trikes. It's the glider you fly though as a trike only rolls. So yes absolutely you need the glider control and you need an even higher level of skill to properly control the trike as you need a very good feel in the fingers since on a trike you eliminate the ability to feel the weight on your legs and the ability to side step and weight shift on the ground. So if you have legs it's best to start with foot launching and then simply move to trikes as you progress. We have trained people in wheelchairs though if it is needed. Let's go flying!

    Sorry if I offended you really wasn't my intention I do have knowledge of wings flew your dominator one time and I enjoyed the flight and I agree with you it is a safe wing with good lift. Just want to know if you can test the thrust 5 made by Apco that is also a great wing to fly unfortunately I couldn't really compare them because I flew them at different days and they were different sizes so it wouldn't be a fair comparison you have a lot of wings at your disposal so you will be able to test them at the equal size and same weather

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  Před rokem +1

      I don't get offended. I just make sure to point out the truth as people's lives depend on it. The Thrust 5 is an uncertified class wing and the smallest size is a gigantic 27.3 sm which is just ridiculous. Kind of pointless compared to the Dominator. I was excited about their Hybrid as it's very lightweight and so had a possible chance to compete with the Dominator. Sadly that wing tried to kill me and completely failed to even remotely compete with the Dominator. So people should stick with the Dominator and not mess around as there are so many variables that even the best pilots can get killed trying to test unproven wings.

      Ah yea because paying 10 times as much and having to rent hangar space at an airport and still not being able to fly where we fly is so much easier. One bolt comes loose and you die. I'll stick with the safety of a Dominator where it could literally be chopped in half and still fly.

    Time stamp 17:00. I disagree. Students should not be landing with the motor on on solo or the next 10 flights. That motor should be off at 25ft above touchdown point. Hands up feeling the glider and then flare at kick the dog level. To do otherwise is foolhardy because students need to commit to that landing without the distractions and dangers of a spinning prop or running motor. Dell, I don't know how you get off on Bashing your friends like Kyle O and Matt Minyard but you are not a good person. You are in fact the biggest blowhard I've ever seen on you tube. I fly with both Matt and Kyle, and they are both exceptional instructors. I Trained under Matt in 2018. I've never broken a prop. I've had 150hrs on my moster 185 before the exhaust cracked. I've never put my hand in the prop. I have all my digits. I've had 2 motor outs with off site emergency landings. Neither motor outs were my fault. Both outs were on the EOS150 that I no longer fly. The first was when it ate a reed and fragged the top end at 25hrs. The second was when the return spring on the starter rope failed and prevented another restart inflight at 30hrs. I credit those successful end results all to Matt's training. Matt was with me in the air with the starter rope issue as we were practicing full collapses at 3000 ft above the bay over Cypremort Point. He interpreted my issue as a motor out and refused to let me cross the open bay to land back at our original LZ. I had the altitude and a tail wind so I could have probably made the crossing, but we were over the point where there was an open vacant lot so he spiraled down to scout the spot before I came down. He assured me with visual cues it was safe to land and that's what I did. Once down he landed also nearby to check my situation and then flew off to retrieve my truck to come pick me up. Since training with him in 2018 I've not crashed, or exhausted my fuel, or otherwise fucked up in any way that would prevent me from flying another day. All because I took training with Matt @ Paramotor Louisiana. Lastly, here's the perfect landing tandem on that same wing with the same girl you were so quick to discount as a bad landing. I see nothing wrong with this approach or FLARE.........motor off even. How many tandem motor offs have you done to a postage stamp sized spit of land surrounded by water from 500ft kill switch? Yeah, don't see any of those videos.... czcams.com/video/nQVSY7hQNos/video.html

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  Před rokem

      So when students oscillate or turn off direction from into the wind or start surges or get their glide slope wrong or get popped with a bit of a gust and their motor is off.... WHAP!!! Forced into a horrible situation. Real pilots land motor on. Have you ever seen a 747 land motor off? What you show is the total incompetence of your fake instructor. Many many people have been seriously injured and some deaths because they messed up landings with bogus "training" like yours and without any option of adding throttle to go around they crashed hard core. Plus SUPER students don't do "landings" on their first flights. They go right for touch & go's because their skills are waaaay beyond incompetent people like Matt and Kyle who have never had proper training. How about SHOW a video of yourself or the fake scam instructors you name just doing basic things like you can see SUPER students doing: czcams.com/video/RXC5Jx_URoQ/video.html If you actually had "proper training" then you should be able to SHOW a video sooooo easily of your real actual skills. The lies don't work on me man. It just doesn't. I know exactly what students do and even properly trained students don't just nail perfect landings. They do all the same wrong things until they actually learn. Shutting the motor off would mean they pound into the ground and trash gear just like you have but lie about. Instead SUPER students just hit the throttle and go around when they screw up and it's a total non issue. The main reason scammers and murderers like Matt & Kyle have people shut engines off is because they know they didn't train them properly and they know darn well they put them on the absolute worst pile of crap gear where the slightest oops results in catastrophic destruction of gear. At SUPER training if a student were to shred a glider in the prop they pay ZERO. I pay for it. So I know darn well they are not going to mess up horribly or I don't put them in the air like the scam instructors. I dare you to SHOW real actual flights of yours. You won't because you don't have crap for skills and your gear is total crap. Just LOOK at the netting on the pile of crap paramotor Matt is flying in the video link you send. What do you think happens when the passenger falls down and drags him down on top of them because he isn't using the proper setup? What do you think happens when the wind changes directions right as he is about to land motor off tandem??? Yea he pounds into the ground and has horrible nightmare for the passenger. Seriously dude wake the freak up!!! If you had real actual skills you could post them. If scammers like the scammers you listen had real skills you could SHOW them doing what brand new SUPER students can do. Why can't they? Why can't those scam instructors even do what literally brand new SUPER students can do? Why do they push gear so horrible and deadly that literally hundreds and hundreds have died on it? Hundreds and hundreds have been shredded. 5 died in a single year on that total crap gear just from drowning along. Piles more died from riser twists and torque issues. For you the totally ignorant newbie to come here talking sheer absurdity with no logic, reason or facts pretending you know more than an actual expert really SHOWS the true and real problem of just how unbelievably incompetent your fake instructors were. If they had any brains at all they would tell you to listen to experts not pretend you know more than experts. You flying since 2018????? How about a kiting competition against one of my students for say.... $5000 in cash????? What do you say??? How about you SHOW a video of yourself demonstrating real actual skills? Yea cricket.... cricket... nothing. For those reading take a look at the date as this guy will never ever ever accept a challenge against a SUPER student and won't post 1 single video of real actual skills of himself or his fake instructors SHOWING they can do what SUPER students can do because they can't. Never ever shut off your motor for landing. That is total stupidity as it leaves you completely without options. There are soooo many variables and just landing directly into the wind is incredibly difficult for people on first or even 15-30 flights. It takes HUNDREDS of flights with direct instructor SUPER-vision to tune people into real actual pilots. Want to pretend you didn't chop fingers off on the crap gear??? Anyone with an IQ of 75 can watch this video and see the real truth: czcams.com/video/BlZsoXIA0uU/video.html THAT is truth. Not the bull crap about "oh I never had a problem". Yea THAT guy said "oh I never had a problem" as well right up to the point where he DID have a problem and WHAP!!! Only a freaking idiot is going to fly a pile of crap paramotor that doesn't have proper protection from the prop or the HUNDREDS of other safety advantages of the Flat Top. Total liars like Kyle tell utterly idiotic lies pretending the Flat Top is this that and the other thing but people with a brain can watch video and video of little kids and little GIRLS flying the Flat Top with full control. Ohhhhh it's soooooo difficult and awkward for Kyle O Liar but for a 14 year old girl with SUPER training and a Flat Top it's a piece of cake. The stupid lies look really stupid when you put them next to the truth. Seriously how would it hurt these people to get real actual SUPER training and then sell proper gear??? Where is the downside for scammers like Kyle O Liar and Mark O Scammer to get real actual training and sell real actual gear??? How would it hurt them to learn real actual skills? It wouldn't. Their egos are so big they want to pretend they are the experts when they literally can't even compete with a SUPER student let alone compete with me. Liars lie, SUPERS fly. Use some common sense people. Just click on the guys channel.... ZERO CONTENT!!! Literally enough said right there. ZERO CONTENT. Liars lie so easy when they know darn well they can't SHOW any evidence to back up what they say. Come on liar, $5000 cash you vs a SUPER students!!!! Come on you had proper training right? You should have the skills to easily beat a SUPER student after having been flying from 2018 right??? 2018.... ZERO CONTENT. Fraud. LOOK at the evidence people. ZERO CONTENT vs my what.... 1100+ videos??? Yea real actual experts have video evidence.
