He beat both Sweet pea and Chavez with 9 years between them, and this was back in 1996 when a fighters age doesnt usually go past 35.They were both 33 years old and Chavez had 96 wins already when they fought. Same goes for Camacho who primed in the 80's Then beat Vargas and lost after that to pretty much everyone with a name. Pacman became #1 when he dismantled Morales and Barrera and Marquez who were the monsters of that division.Who in their right mind fights Morales 3 times, Barrera twice and throws in some marquez fights in between? Dela hoya just had the star power because he spoke english and looked pretty on TV.

Pacquiao has been knocked out since his career began. In his last 3 divisions, he's only ever looked good because of weight manipulation clauses and targeting men coming off huge career losses.

To be honest, most real fans don't even want to see Floyd again. Real fans are honest enough with themselves to know that Mayweather's best years are behind him.
The only reason that people are clamoring for a Mayweather return is so that he can break Marciano's historic record. Were it not for that, the interest would not be there.
Not because Mayweather isn't the most skilled and dynamic fighter maybe ever .. but because any real fan or student of the game knows that no one beats Father Time.
Its the significance of being in a position to do something that no other fighter has been able to do for over 60 years that has real fans looking forward to Mayweather's next fight.
Manny Pacquiao brings NOTHING to the table .. and if there is a USADA drug test involved in Pacquiao's next fight, expect to see the same Manny Pacquiao you saw against Mayweather.

IDK. Bud hits harder, but he os not as quick and his movement is a little sloppy. His counters are also not as crisp, and he is a bit predictable. Floyd is also the bigger guy with more reach (Bud has never laced up at 147, so we don't know how his power will be or his speed will be at the weight). I think anything could happen, but Floyd would likely win a unanimous decision.
