About Young Sheldon:
It’s 1989 and 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper has skipped four grades to start high school along with his less-intellectual older brother. As he struggles to be understood by his family, classmates and neighbors, his mother arms him with the best tool she can come up with: reminding bullies his dad is the football coach and his brother is on the team. His twin sister doesn’t share his exceptional mind, but she has a much clearer vision of what life has in store for the young genius.

"Oh I'm sure I'll get a Scholarship"
The look on Mary's face afterwards, not because of the backtalk but because she knows that's absolutely true 🤣
Yeah, great acting skill LOL
OMG
“I cut a frog open”
“For science class?”
“Sure..?”
We all know Missy didn’t do it for science 😭
missy, She knows how her daughter is. that's why she asked
“We should put a lock on the knife drawer.”
" I almost opened the jar " 😆😅😂🤣🙃
Haha
😅😂🤣🥲😊🤣
Basically, a masterpiece😁😁
Well he didn’t make his sandwich
I can't believe he said he ALMOST opened the jar
I like young sheldon so much. The pre-internet and pre-cellphone era looks so quiet and unhurried.
It was a much better way of life.
People had to know where to reach you. Bar, home, school, your mothers and so on. If not there you left a message and eventually you got back to them.
the best time to me was right in the middle of it around 2000-2005, the perfect balance of interactions, sometimes walk to my friends house and play games or hang out, and other days id stay home and play games alone or with one of my brothers.
Remember answering machines? AOL? Loading up a single picture online took like 10 minutes. X3 The good ol' days. Jokes aside, I miss the quality of cartoons and game shows from that era. X-men TAS and Secrets of the Hidden Temple, Supermarket Sweep, and Clarissa Explains it all. X3
yeah no. It sucked.
in the early days of the Internet before tech became mainstream, other kids actively made fun of you for using it and you couldn’t use it at home without someone screaming at you to hurry up and get offline so they could use the phone. One would never ever use a cellphone unless it was an emergency, they cost far too much (except to play Snake 🐍) many 90s kids can probably remember getting screamed at for texting a LITTLE BITand racking up a fortune in phone bills. Every SINGLE letter cost money, that’s largely why everyone started leaving letters out of words.
Organising anything within a group was a time consuming nightmare. No group texts or messages.
Doing homework was also much much much harder without a speedy connection to all human knowledge
It sucked. Life before modern tech sucked.
I love the mention of Caltech and Sheldon saying he won't ever go there when it was his job tbbt.
Technically he ruled out all of California.
Same with how he dissed MIT where Howard went
Bro
@@matt13r1 and he was about to go there, until where it was snowing there
Sheldon: I can’t see myself living in California
Sheldon many years later living in California
It’s funny where life decides to take you huh Shelly?
I like how sheldon claims he's a scientist when he could've just put the jar in hot water making the particles expand making it easier to open the jar
He bang the lid. Generally good enough. I found out some time you need to make a little hole in it. 😁 To be rileas the
You can't think well when you are angry.
I'm no scientist, just a guy with 112 IQ and I know another effective way is to hit the bottom of the jar with the bottom of your wrist, then quickly turn the lid as fast as possible. Works everytime. SPEED IS KEY!
Another really easy method is to drop the jar on the floor and scoop up the jam.
@@ssniper-mb7js I love your method
ARE WE IGNORING GEORGE BEING SO ATTRACTED TO MARY IN THAT MOMENT HE HAD TO LEAVE
Yeah man now I realized it.
That was an underlying theme in the episode.
Personally, I'm ignoring the ALL CAPS nonsense.
@@youmustcreateachanne I agree 👍
@@Woodsm.Woodstock.. Do you agree to the username, the underlying theme, the ALL CAPS statement or all three of the above?
He also put a towel over his genial area
Can't believe this innocent looking young Georgie is now becoming a father in the next Season. Sigh... take me back to when their family problems are simple. And of always, the cute sarcastic and smart Missy🥰🥰🥰
She probably will give birth in the end of season 6.
She has always been so cute! I like her.
" Morning , Mary "
Sheldon Cooper you 🌚💀
@Christopher Bingham i have to watch ep 21😬😬
The writing is so clever and everyone's delivery is just spit on.
I'm really enjoying these clips
Spit
“Safety school, your funny” had me dying 😂😂😂
You are
'In that moment, I was so angry with her... I *_almost_* opened the jar' Bro I adore this narration 😆
Little did Mary know Financial Aid would come to existence😂 I got a bunch of free passes when I submitted my applications
Well if you are old enough, sure. But Sheldon is very young and still need consenting adult anyway to sign the paper needed to get the Aid that he needed.
It probably cost like 5 nickels back then
Bknoey@aol
I'm assuming that's probably post-2010. There were no "free passes" for applications that I was aware of while applying in '93 or in '05.
“I’m gonna go take a cold shower”
By golly Mary you’ve still got it!
The fact he had the table napkin up to hide his 'excitement' made that all the more better
''still'', of course she does, she's not 90...
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 lmao you don’t have to be 90 they’ve been married 16 years and have 3 kids and she’s still pitching tents without trying that’s impressive. credit where credit is due man.
I love how she outsmarted him every time this time but usually sheldons the smartest
Not really smart but more of a hypocritic .Like first she says he's to young to read comic books.then when he gets treated like a adult she then says that adults don't read comic books.like wtf your old enough to buy it but not allowed to read it.thats just stupidity
Mary is raising a baby, not a man
That look on his face when he gets outmanuevered! Priceless🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"You're applying to college out of spite?" 😂😂😂
"I'm ready to go to college"
"Okay?"
LMFAO
if I were Sheldon I would have said "Well! I do your taxes. so you owe me money for that and taking all the years I have done your taxes you owe me more than 60$, but I am willing to let that slide if you pay me 60$ right now or you can find new CA who will be more expensive"
They literally spent money on him when they bought him food,, clothing and services like education so if they asked also for their money wat would he do
@@kaltinhomer4853 I don’t think so on education…(if he can get scholarship in Harvard than I am pretty certain that he can get scholarship in a public school), and for rest I have just one answer, remember that IRS incident, that’s right? He saved a whole lot money.
@@kaltinhomer4853 He is also get paid for his service with trains.

Mee Maw: A different somthin' else.

Guidance counselor: What about Caltech in Pasadena?
Sheldon: I can't see myself living in California, I don't trust their carefree lifestyle.

A few years later he migrates to California to work at Pasadena.
Christopher Bingham Or he just changed his mind.
@@nabranestwistypuzzler7019 yeah right ...
yeah, at Caltech
I thought the same, and was looking for this comment! XD
Sheldon and Missy are best in their roles
Lesson learnt - even if you think u are the smartest kid in this is world, u cannot outwit ur mamma.
Not if she is a piece of crap you can’t
The school thinking he isn't ready is just some bureaucratic bull; it doesn't reflect badly on him.
Also he just needs to make $60 and he's essentially set for life.
Issue is the said “mamma” can sometimes be a giant hypocritical piece of shit in order to try and make things go her way…
@@afj810 That wasn't ''bureaucratic'', he REALLY wasn't ready to live on his own, he was still just a kid, albeit a brilliant one.
@@123RADIOactive Come on, Mary has her faults and can be hypocritical without even understanding it, but ''piece of shit''? She still loves and cares for her kids.
So hilarious lol I love Missy reaction she was like ohh drama and just watching like a tv show exactly like me lol 😂😂😂😂😂
Oh how I love this show
Mary is beginning to realise the folly of spoiling Sheldon silly instead of spanking the arrogance and rudeness right out of him
Physical exertion of power is never the answer. What they should have been doing consistently is teaching him rules like they do their other children. It is a perfectly normal thing to do with every single child and for some reason he gets exempt from being taught about what is polite and what is rude. If he is arrogant it's because they haven't taught him that that's not appropriate with adults.
@@TraceyMush Weak
@@can-ws8hn they are weak, yes. There's no reason to hit kids. I seen kids raised with no hitting.
@@can-ws8hn Your pathetic attitude of hitting little kids to make them do what you want? It is weak, yes.
@@TraceyMush Yeah.. right.
“Morning Mary.” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Sheldon got it so ez my mom would have slapped me in my mouth if I spoke like that to her💀
Sheldon Cooper vs. his mother!! LOL!!
I like how the councellor offers caltech, its a nice crossover to big bang theory
Unbelievable that he's so afraid of germs but doesn't realize if he accidentally punctures that lid the jar fills with bacteria. I learned that the hard way.
The adult life acted by Ian is awesome 🙌. Great job 👏😎
We love the show.
"Excuse me, i have to go take a cold shower " 😅😂
It's amazing as well as hilarious ❤
When Sheldon says he is ready for College 😂 it made me laugh 😂 but when he tells his parents 😮he is young for his age and I would never go in the principal office and say I am ready for college 😊
I always watchng and enjoying meemaw's reaction😂😂
When I watched this when I was younger I never got that part now I get it lol😂
Mary can’t win this at all . Cause sheldon CAN get a scholarship and she can’t do anything about it 😅.
He's a minor so technically and even legally she can :D
@@jayxfrost8987 She Can't Stop Him, From Getting An Education, If He Desires One. He Can Be Emancipated.
A large percentage of scholarships only take care of tuition. He might have to find a way to pay his own room and board.
Perhaps now she couldn't do anything with the schools saying parents have no say in what goes on with their child, but in the 80s they still had rights. They did not have to let him go to college so young. They still had authority over him if they chose to exercise it, which they seldom did. They ALLOWED him to get away with everything, while punishing the other children for much less.
@@caryrodriguez5765 That would mean he is on his own at age 9. If he can't open a jelly jar, how is he going to manage transportation to and from school, receiving medical care outside of the campus infirmary, or earning money necessary outside of what a scholarships pay for?
So angry I almost opened the jar 😂😂😅
The acting 🔥
George was fired up!🔥😄
#flameon
Safety school! You're funny 😂
What about caltech?
Sheldon: No
7 seasons later: I’m going to Caltech.
Sheldon couldve been fixed with a good belt
The ways she's like "OKEEEY"
This might be the perfect show.
Sheldon ❤ you are the best
man missy is fr willing to pass up taking care of her child just bc of pride
I was shocked hearing Sheldon address his mom by her first name.
If I didn't dislike Mary so much I would be upset
@@johnmcgeough2799 why you dislike Mary, I don't understand, she is a good mother
0:28 Kardashians to their mom be like:
Young Sheldon: safe school your funny!
Me:😳😂😂
I ALMOST OPENED THE JAR 😮💨😮💨😮💨
2:12 i cant her with face she was kinda cool and nice
I like Sheldon so much
He is so funny I like his personality
This internet but the jam jar got me that me when I’m tired to open the jar
Mary will always win because when he's sick, guess who takes care of him....he's so needy, he will need his mother.
Oh Sheldon you have to always open that door
At 0:13 to break the pressure seal, you hit the side of the lid, not the top Sheldon
Use a rubber mallet to break the pressure seal and tap it with a medium amount of force to not break the glass
There should be a young missy! She's hilarious!
Kids. They grow up so fast.
I almost opened the JAR😂
"...a different something else"😅
When Sheldons mom said “oh so even the school doesn’t think you’re mature enough” Sheldon should’ve said I’m smarter than the whole school I have to correct them all the time.
BTW we are sleeping on two things, first you can break the preassure seal of a jar even with a spoon he's just doing it wrong; second mewmaw's face when George Sr said he needed a cold shower part😅😅.
Morning Mary😂
She had him there! 😂😂😂
The "Okay?" that the guidance counselor gave Sheldon was so real and funny the actress needs a raise bruv
Heat it up
He was so angry = almost opened the jar
He was so furious= opened the jar
Now a good reply for Sheldon could have been I can earn the money by tutoring people like Georgie and doing taxes like I do for the family. Mary response, George help, George reply how.
Or just get the money anyways because even me who is in 12th grade at age 17 has the applications paid for, which is the average age to do it at anyways, plus it’s not his fault that he doesn’t have any money. They’re also not even letting him TRY go to school at that point even though he literally would have a full scholarship anyways regardless, plus they would still end up paying for it at some point in the future.
@@nabranestwistypuzzler7019 Good for you
It’s illegal to get paid to do taxes by federal law unless you’re licensed
I love missy so much
She is a survivor
Morning mary... haha 😆😆😂
I was so angry that I almost opened the jar
Sheldon is a savage dang😮
Something about Mary being in charge changed something in The dad 👀
Didn't know George was attracted to pettiness lol
Ahahahahah I almost open the jar
He is so adorable, haha.
not in the slightest
Safety school....you're funny.....🤣
You need a can opener thingy for that you know it's type...
Mary Cooper is gorgeous when she's upset...
"I see what your the counselor 😂
Mary is a Texan in the 80s
Missy is my favorite.
Just open the Jar😅
You have to be careful not nervous about your homework
We should put a lock on the knife draw
This is hilarious. Mary can't stand the thought of Sheldon leaving home (Her) to go to college. To her, Sheldon was her crowning achievement, which makes sense sometimes, but it's unfair to her other two kids whom she continuously neglects and dismisses.
I don’t think there was enough science 😅😅🤣🥲😂😂🤣
The saddest part is that Mary won. and all because of the tornado. Normally I feel pleased when Sheldon gets karma because most of the time he deserves it. Here he doesn't.
For someone so smart when he tried to open the jar the knife almost hit him
Sheldon could of said I won’t do the taxes if you don’t pay for the application
A good parent would have helped her son instead of making fun of him...she is horrible
1:32 And yet you moved there and made a life there.
I thought Sheldon were good at physics. If it's that hard to open the jar, just use a warm towel
@BigBruh ur right
It's peanut butter jelly time. Peanut butter jelly.
wayyyap wayyyap wayyyap
I refuse to get that stuck in my head...
