I agree with you on the past lives tarot that the art is a little bit uncomfortable, the Indigenous man card rubs me the wrong way, that's so vague?? What culture is the man depicted from? There are so many different Indigenous groups, literally hundreds (context: I'm a white bitch but I am a PhD student in Indigenous studies). In a similar vein, I specifically work with peoples of the Pacific (Hawai'i and Tahiti), so I got the Mermaid tarot because I loved the wands suit so much. 😊 Also, I've been considering the Stunning tarot for a while, because of your channel, and I just went to find a walkthrough of the third edition to see it in more detail. I about lost my entire shit when I realized there is a Sekhmet card and she has a CAT IN HER LAP. Are you kidding me. I am buying this deck right now. This was a really fun video! Love it…I have the Tarot Oculi Occultati and I came across somehow in 2019(?) and was so intrigued mine is 545 of 900 so either people don’t know about it or 🤷♀️ but it’s such a interesting deck and I’m happy I have!!!! ❤️🌙🎄
Yes I agree I don't think it is that well known? It's a bit impractical, I need to figure out how to shuffle it, so far I have just mixed it all on a table like Monopoly money haha but the ARTWORK 😍It's so beautiful I can't stop looking at it.thank you for watching 😘😘

And yayy for colorful decks they make me happy 🥰🥰

The Art History Lesson for Past Lives. I love it! I know you shared your feelings about it but I connected with it from the time you took the cards out of the pouch. However, that’s just me. I think you should do a reading with it and find out why it makes you so uncomfortable when you get that one specific card. That might help. 😊😊

A customer gave me a $50 visa gift card at work last night at work sooooo maybe I'm supposed to 🤔🤣 ugh, just watched and I forgot that the backs are dreadful on the third edition. But it's always the question: What's the fourth edition going to look like IF it comes out? 😬 FOMO advice?
ohhh that's great, a gift from the universe 😬treat yourself before xmas it's the season hehe. I think Jonasa releases the deck quite regularly I don't think they ever mentioned not wanting to print it anymore so maybe if you don't like the backs it's worth waiting to see what the next one looks like? You could always look for a 1st edition on eBay or Facebook but not sure of prizes 🤨some people take the piss when it comes to 1st edition copy lol, it's like they are selling their first born not a pack of card.

I have decks I'm either going to give to friends if they like them or ask for extremely small amounts of store credit at a local witchy store. If you're selling your deck, unless you really need the money, chances are you don't like it enough to use it, so just let someone else use it... Right?

I've had the Art history of past lives deck a few years and I hate it. The cards are dark in coloration, not alot of happy cards, the writing can hardly be seen, it's so tiny. I can only pull it out during a sunny day or a well lit room and the messages it gives are flat. I hate it.

Oh man, i wasn't planning on being tempted but every time i see the stunning tarot 😳 i want it 😭🤣 i need to watch a walkthrough on the new edition after this. A customer gave me a $50 visa gift card at work last night at work sooooo maybe I'm supposed to 🤔🤣 ugh, just watched and I forgot that the backs are dreadful on the third edition. But it's always the question: What's the fourth edition going to look like IF it comes out? 😬 FOMO advice?

I think Jonasa releases the deck quite regularly I don't think they ever mentioned not wanting to print it anymore so maybe if you don't like the backs it's worth waiting to see what the next one looks like? You could always look for a 1st edition on eBay or Facebook but not sure of prizes 🤨some people take the piss when it comes to 1st edition copy lol, it's like they are selling their first born not a pack of card.
@@thewavesofyoursoul right, if you're selling something for way more than you paid for it you're ripping ppl off. I have decks I'm either going to give to friends if they like them or ask for extremely small amounts of store credit at a local witchy store. If you're selling your deck, unless you really need the money, chances are you don't like it enough to use it, so just let someone else use it... Right?
@@ox-micha-xo I totally understand reselling a deck for around the price you got it, especially indie decks etc because they are not cheap with shipping on top etc , or even trading for things of similar price point but it's when the deck becomes OOP & then suddenly they go for like hundreds of hundreds of coins that it's like hmmm no thank you haha
@@thewavesofyoursoul yeah, I think it should be less about greed and more people sharing art and the love of tarot. I'd rather somebody give me less money and appreciate a deck they get from me more
I've had the Art history of past lives deck a few years and I hate it. The cards are dark in coloration, not alot of happy cards, the writing can hardly be seen, it's so tiny. I can only pull it out during a sunny day or a well lit room and the messages it gives are flat. I hate it.
