Terrible to put those animals in a cage. I’m so happy for them that they can live freely.❤

Imagine being kept in a house with a backyard to get some fresh air, but never allowed to go out into the world because they’re trying to keep you safe.

I'm not sure which logic to follow with smart animals in captivity.
On first glance they seem contempt and happy about their situation.
But maybe not. There is that one Beluga, Juno which is kind of popular on CZcams for seemingly enjoying scaring kids and pulling pranks.
But maybe it is a sign of aggression and it is basically a command "stay back, go away" since in nature this is how they do it.
But can this be applied to an intelligent animal raised around humans. Maybe they just learned that they can do that to get a reaction.
Let's assume aliens visited me at my home and tetermined i'm in this cage of sorts. From my german language they don't understand they assume I must be really upset about being held here.
They decide it is best for me to drop me at my natural habitat in the Savannahs of Africa.
I wouldn't be happy about that. I rather life in a society where I have to follow and deal with restrictions, having my basic needs taken care instead of roaming kilometers of land in search of food, shelter trying not to be eaten or dying of infection
If they're intelligent they might see it the same way as long as there is activity and they're not bored to death.
Not even taking into account humanities destruction of the oceans acidification, plastics and climate change.
