I agree that everything's getting pricier nowadays. Every time I do my grocery shopping, I cry a little inside because of the soaring high prices. My usual budget for our grocery just won't make do anymore, I'm planning on adjusting it a bit which means I have to also adjust the rest of the categories in my budget too. Adulting is really hard. TT______TT

Am I the only one in awe of how big the knife was? I was like ~ah, it's a machete!~ hehehe. Had fun watching this! We do have to live with this inflation and everything seems so expensive. I'd advise looking into online market places that sell items cheaper, sometimes even food! Just need to make sure it's a trusted source and all should be well. ^__^

Ikr the prices now are too high! Kahit sa karenderia still the viands here atleast in my city are already 50-80pesos/viand..mapapaiyak ka talaga! Lol. When i cook i also limit the ingredients na para makatipid, the sinigang you're cooking is more for 3members of the family! Dati halos gabi2 we can cook adobo, sinigang, kare2, etc. now I prefer law-uy (veggies with soup) less/no meat para mas healthy and ofcourse mas tipid lol! Pair it with pritong isda (if fish is cheap i use bangus for prito & sinigang) yum! Adulting is real my dear 🥹🫶

I've recently started buying vege and spices at the market/talipapa but sometimes, the price is the same as with the supermarket. The veggie shops near me are probably exp compared to the big public markets. What I really like though is I can choose the quantity I like. Like, I can buy 5 pcs of chili lang, or a tiny bit of ginger ganern. Super convenient. And sometimes the quality is better vs in supermarket.

ate, you can test if mainit na yong mantika gamit yong wooden chopstick, i learned it from my sister, tinuro sa tle subject nila. if bumula or nagka-bubbles na meaning mainit na. and ano same ate, i like tuyong adobo as in mantika na lang or basta tuyoo, dabest tapos spicy pa, sheeems. and sa sinigang ate, u can try na durugin yong taro, mas masarap sinigang para sakin kapag ganon eh. suggestion lang naman po baka magustuhan mo rin :)) and, napakarelaxing talaga ng vid mo ate haays. wheeen lol

I just wanted to know if you get ant problems in your house too? It was so weird for me when I went to visit family there, and they had a colony of ants just casually running through their house.
I had when I first moved in! 😖 I just replaced and relocated my trash can and then they were gone.
i like this but im curious if you really use that many dishes or are you just doing it for the vlog. i just cant imagine myself using 4 different trays for the veggies. i put them all in one strainer/steamer pot so before tossing i can give them all one last wash and then put the ingredients in by hand in the same order you did hehe. nothing i just find it seriously mindblowing that there are people who use that many dishes huehueee
