It is not the same for everyone. Whenever I relax and stop worrying about something, things which I never would have imagined would happen, happened many times. When I intentionally think negatively that something could go wrong, they don't actually happen. That's how I saw what bullshit Positive thinking and LOA was. I never realized this was a thing that other people experienced, but literally this week I was short on money bc my electric bill was like 2.5x higher than it normally is and I was like “well shit. Idk how im going to buy my lunches for this week.” Then I found $30 in a coat pocket, and my grandma gave me a graduation card (I graduated last year lol) with a $100 check in it. It just seems to show up 🤷🏼♀️ not every time, of course. There are times where I have to tell myself I won’t die if I’m hungry at work
As a Muslim, this checks out for us since we have always been taught to think that "in every delay there is good" and that God knows best so everything is happening in the best case scenario. The bonus tip is to be grateful and all of this combined together makes you a lucky girl!

I became homeless due to no fault of my own and went to a centre to find temporary accommodation. A guy sitting next to me started a conversation and we hit it off and exchanged numbers. A few days later he called me up and advised me on what I needed to do, places to go and how to get urgent accommodation. Few months later I was given a brand new home and its all thanks to this stranger who just wanted to help me even though he didn't have to. I'm not just lucky, I am blessed 😇

Oh. This is how I've lived my whole life. Didn't know it had a name! All my life, I've been convinced that stuff will sort itself out, good things will find me and I am a very lucky person. And funnily, the best things came when I was not even trying hard to achieve them but they just came up as opportunities, or creating them felt easy and self-evident. Some friends of mine couldn't understand how I can live by not planning out every step. I’ve believed in lucky girl syndrome since I was born and now I’m 19. I’ve managed to build a fanpage to 1 million followers (since the age of 12) and have had tonnes of paid opportunities through there. That’s so far one of my biggest lucks in life.
