So many of these stories seem to start with molestation or abuse. So sad that it becomes their identity. God bless that women who obeyed Gods voice and saved Daniel from possible suicide! so happy to hear you have peace Daniel.
I’ve had a lot of deep conversations with gay people who have confided in me and one in particular at first would tell me that “no I was never molested as a child I’m just gay” well as the year progressed he finally opened up and told me the truth, that as a child he was touched by an older boy. supposedly I was the first person he told this to. So I agree kinda with you about them being molested.
It's also sad how the church condemns gays, but don't keep that same energy when children are knowingly being sexually abused by the clergy or a parental figure at home.

I love this story. I didn't think an LGBT person could really be changed, but God works wonders. Just be real honest with yourself, be true or you will be living a lie. It's nice to see someone live as God made them .

I have 2 children that are gay. Please pray for them. I may share this beautiful testimony with them once God gives me the ok. God is so good.
As a parent, that would be a nightmare for me. Prayer has power. Pray for them without ceasing. Dont be afriad to rebuke such behavior as the bible does say we should rebuke one another in righteousness. With the way this world is going, I fear for my 3 children so im doing anything i can to make sure they dont go down that path.

I’m sorry but all of you who think it’s a choice to be gay, lesbian or whatever, it is not. I don’t think we would choose to be ridiculed, bullied or beaten up as a choice...I am a 69 yr old lesbian woman and I knew who I was even at the early age. I am a Christian and the Lord Jesus Christ has spoken to me several times because He loves me as I am and as He made me.. I married in the church before gay marriages were allowed...I have seen angels, the Lord saved me from a pandemic back in 1969. Yes this is my second one....trust Jesus but most of all embrace who he made you to be...
If you don’t surrender your entire life to Jesus including your sexuality and let Jesus lead you out of it, then the Jesus you think you know will most assuredly condemn you to hell

This is why I do not want my children in public school.
I understand what you are saying but they can be taught this stuff at home too. If they have a friend or cousin or neighbor who exposes them to ideas or pictures or whatever (can be just as quick as lightening while your head is turned and you are washing your hands in the bathroom). More important, be involved in the school. Have good communication with the teachers. I tell teachers at the beginning of every year that we don’t celebrate Halloween and we believe in traditional christian values and I don’t want alternative thought or lifestyles taught to my children. I let them know they will hear from me if so but that I trust they will respect my wishes and it won’t be a problem. I also talk freely with my kids about what the world thinks is ok vs what the Bible says is true. They know about gay people. They know God loves them but that they are living in sin. They know other family types exist, but that 2 moms isn’t part of Gods plan. They know what good touch and bad touch is and what inappropriate exposure is. They know some people don’t know Christ and have dirty magazines and not to look if a friend shows them bc it’s harmful to the spirit. Equipping children to navigate life empowers them so they aren’t victims, but overcomers.
There are conservative public schools that would never put up with liberal education
