We have become propagandized to some extent to think we are so advanced and that anything we want is available anytime we want and now we can be lazy and have everything brought to our front door. And people are paying extra... even more than what's fair, but they think it's cool and that they are technologically current and savy. People are deceiving themselves. And now our politicians are asking us to live with more concern for the environment despite the fact they are total tech using, fossil burning, obsessed with money and ideologies. I used to live a good 30 minutes away from any stores and we did just fine. Now we have the luxury of going to stores just 10 minutes away. The difference is that mentality of thinking ahead and having enough of what we need at home. Even now I try not to run out things by buying extra or buying before I run out of something. No matter how technologically advanced we become, we're organic and we have basic needs. And anything we build can be destroyed.
