Since I first saw it with my dad some 25 years ago, I've watched this play regularly. It's like visiting old friends. The comedic rapport between Barkworth and Shrapnel, juxtaposed with the gravity of the subject matter, is just exceptional. I wonder where PB and JS are now... hopefully somewhere high above the clouds, still engaging in banter about philosophy and 'girly magazines'. Wag, wag...
Bravo for posting this. I saw it when I was a boy, and transcribed the speeches from tape, thinking they were something transcendent. Today - how much more relevant. May God help and strengthen the persecuted all around the world.
