FGS Oldenburg, German Corvette, German Navy, F263, Portsmouth Shipping

The German Braunschweig class Corvette FGS Oldenburg called into the British Naval port at Portsmouth for an overnight stop. Here we see her elegantly slip away the next morning, mission unknown, perhaps back to Germany or off on exercise. Launched in 2007 but not commissioned until 2013. FGS Oldenburg is the fourth of the five batch 1 corvettes, the other four being Braunschweig, Magdeburg, Erfurt and Ludwigshafen am Rhein.
Batch 2 corvette consist of another five corvettes, Koln, Emden, Karlsruhe, Augsburg and Lubeck.
