Nooo-ho-ho-hooooh...! I was expecting a longer vid, reactions and stuff up to trial! It is *I* who has been bamboozled this day! x.x I really, *really* should have replayed FFIV before I played Endwalker. Missed so many references... and it's been a long, long time since I last played, too, so I don't remember much. >.< Still, dungeon was a fun experience nonetheless. Was bittersweet to see Baron through Golbez's eyes, recalling what happened to him in XIV... ^^; I shall (not so) patiently await next week's vid!
I've seen this theory before but I want to propose my own. Durante's words were "You made me who I am" and "I will not let your legacy be forgotten". He then goes on to become an incredibly powerful mage even if magic wasn't his thing before. There IS a source character those actions map to, but it's not Zenos. It's G'raha Tia.
I still can't believe nobody in any of the videos made a single Muwun Cave joke in the entire expansion. We went into so many moon caves this expansion. Lunar Subterrane is just a fancy way of saying Moon Cave!!! (I'm not mad though, I think it's hilarious 😂)

I honestly thought Varis' VA was voicing Golbez for a while there, so it's hard to say! XD
