My first car in 1972, was a 1962 nova with a straight 6, 3 on the tree shift, 4 door sedan, with a one barrel carburetor. I kept it for 2 years, until I graduated out of high school. It was blue with a white top. It was a great car!

love these cars have had several, my last one was a 63 also, just like this, wish mine would have had that original taupe interior, mine was all redone, aftermarket AC, mine was show quality, but like you said not many folks want 4 doors, but i loved them, were great with the kids to go to car shows and such. mine was originally a 3 speed on the column, but changed it to 2 speed powerglide, was a job, but worth it. did all myself, was proud of myself. great cars so easy to work on. i sold mine about 7-8 years ago, and listed for $10,500, sold for $9500. very nice, they don't stick around long if there decent. congrats

I also had a 4 door 63 Chevy II 194 cu-in thrifty six but no power steering. The vent control knobs were chrome and no other options other than seatbelts. Yes, in 1963 seatbelts were an option. The original owner (a distant relative) died behind the wheel of a heart attack before I acquired the car. After I sold it, it was stolen at a party in So. Cal., used in a drive by shooting, and then crashed into a tree. This car could tell some stories...

Well since this video is several years old, I already sold the car years ago & they moved to another state. I have no idea what they've done to the car, but they liked it as is, so I'm guessing they left it that way. I liked it like that, baby moons and all. Besides, they don't make rally wheels in 13 inch, 4 lug. It's only original once, so leave it alone, I say. Thanks for watching! 😊

Hobby started pricing most out around the late 80s prices started to go nuts.
Crowd is aging out though...remember when noone could afford a st rod Tbucket 50s chevy etc.
Many are gonna lose thier shirts cause young people want nothing to do with these old cars. They will cheapen up Ill be dead by then though
