Day 19 - I Designed An Island In 30 Days Using ONE Color

Welcome to a brand new 30 day challenge where I decorate my ACNH island using only 1 color! 😄 I'm very excited to spend this month of June with you guys and I hope we all have a great summer 😊

Haha idk what rose guide you're following, but the one I like to follow is a lot simpler if you want to try: 1) Breed whites for purples 2) Breed the purples with seed reds for hybrid pinks 3) Breed the pinks with seed yellows for hybrid reds 4) Then just breed the hybrid reds together. They have a chance for blues, they can also spawn orange, black, and more red which can also be grouped together for a chance at blues. If they spawn white, yellow, or purples just trash those they're unneeded.
Edit cause I forgot to add: Some other things I do to help the roses is have the beautiful ordinance on, and I move all my other flowers to the beach so only my roses will be spawning

The build turned out super cute! Maybe you could make an outside aquarium for the museum? Not all the fish and their casings are blue, but water is blue so maybe it'll still count and look good?

I think part of the issue with the roses is that you were reusing roses that didn't come from seeds. You were getting rose colors you didn't need for the next step, and using those roses for the previous step. Like if you were getting white roses but you needed purple roses, you were reusing them where you needed whites. When you are breeding for flowers, you can't do that. Generally speaking, your base color flowers need to come from seeds (red, white, yellow), unless you are breeding for a hybrid red or something like that

Oh devastating! The way I finally got my blue roses was to rob some from a nook miles island (I didn't have native roses on my island) There's supposed to be a better chance with those ones
