This might be the best budget TKL, period.

Not only did this man touch grass, he sat in it.
Legend.
Out in nature works so well for commentary. Keep with it. Perfect vibe.
I appreciate you! I’m gonna try and keep up a similar vibe going forward😤
3:17. When the view is so great that it made people and camera fall for it.
I was so scared😂❤

The shots and color correction on your vids have been so nice and aesthetic lately. I love your editing!
You’re too kind! Thank you🥰
Oh my GOD the color! Welcome back anzel
Love ya lots Amiro
Incredible color correction and vibe on this vid, keep it up!
Thank you so much!! I appreciate ya☺️
Hey man I really enjoyed this review! The music in the background was so nice aswell.
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it😊
Such a good quality video! Awesome review too!
I appreciate the love ☺️
Beautiful shots!
Thank you so much🥰
I'm so glad that people get to enjoy great, quality boards at reasonable prices nowadays! Really love the field shots, especially the take where the camera fell off lols
That’s what I’m saying!! And yes, the camera is a paid actor
Really appreciate the natural setting, but those opening shots of the keyboard with the light streaming in were chef's kiss! I would gently disagree that this is a budget board but I am glad to see that at $218-280 this exceeds your expectations.
Thank you! And yeah I’m getting similar sentiment from other commenters- I’m definitely doing a followup video on this topic!!
i like the edit!
I like you😌
More keyboard on screen time, please
the videography and filmaking of this video is insane
Thank you🥰
Clicked the link to see what it was and I def wasn’t expecting a luminkey board lol
and that’s the best part!!! This totally took me from left field haha
Beautiful Beautiful!
You’re beautiful!!
this video issa vibe man sheeesh
❤️❤️❤️
Question how did you remove the rgb on the escaped and the rgb on the 5 key? Just got my review unit and I cant seem to figure it out haha@@AnzelLmao
@@Rx003 dawg imma be real I don’t know HAHA
@@AnzelLmao hahaha bet ill just keep it as it is, and pass along when some one ask ill also say "idk haha" hahaha
@@Rx003 dawg I’m so bad with remapping and lights once the board has wireless functionality HAHA
There’s a reason a lot of my proto boards have stock lighting😂😂
I feel 4:41 too. I had some keyboards I bought during the pandemic and a little after that are still sitting in their boxes, unbuilt. They cost more than this one does and yet they're already outclassed in terms of the refinement-to-price ratio. I don't feel bad for having them, they're still keyboard history in a way, but it's surprising to see how low prices have gotten for the quality of keyboard you get in the last 2 years.
Yeah, it’s absolutely crazy how much the space has changed!! I feel like a boomer UAHA
ohh man that no foam sound was hitting me in the right spots
Right?? It’s pretty damn clean!!
I think that you should've mentioned that there is an upcoming Cycle80 after the Cycle7, and that is something to think about when considering buying this board.
I didn’t even realize there was gonna be a cycle80!! Good looking out!!
do you think this keyboard is good enough in prebuilt version or should i buy the spend more money and build it myself?
until christmas, he's gon blow uppp on yt
Sending big love your way❤️
Anzel, can you do me a tiny favor and move the wires that hang down from you monitor over to the monitor mount arm and attach them with some zip ties?
Sorry about my ocd… lol
I’m gonna get to it one day, my setup is just constantly evolving😭😭
If it wasn’t just the typical gasket mount I would be so in on it
What’s wrong with typical and what would you rather have?
Curious as to why this is!!
I love your jawline!
I love you!❤️
You mentioned you may like the Luminkey80 more than the Frog TKL, if i'm between these 2 boards, how would you compare them?
Frog is more expensive but has a more premium build to it, especially with the weight. I expect them to be more consistent in quality and the machining is a bit more complex.
However the luminkey has a brighter and cleaner sound while also being more flexible! It’s all preference!’
It sounds soooo good with foam, but damn, I wish it was available in e-white lol. Such a buzzkill!
Have you tried the Zoom TKL? How does this board compares to that board if you have tried it out?
I haven’t unfortunately, so I can’t say much!!
What's the build quality like? Is it all aluminum?
All aluminum with a copper weight! Incredible quality for the price!
How do you guys always manage to get the keyboards before group-buys (unless you are sponsored by them)?
They are sponsored
I get sent them for free! Although idk if I would consider it sponsored? Since I’m not getting paid typically. I always disclose if I’m paid, although I admit that I forget to disclose that i get the boards for free. Regardless I try and be as unbiased as possible in each review and I don’t allow these companies to influence my review!
Damn the board is sooo nice, really thinking of buying it.
Btw what song is that at 2:10? Sounds nice

what would you say about this board with sp-star meteor white or the sotc switch? having a hard time to decide
or if it's possible for you to do a sound test with either of them? thank you!
I think both would be great, but it depends on what you’re going for! Those are two very different switches and while I don’t think you could go wrong with either, you should figure out what you’re aiming for and pick the switch that best suits that goal! Or just send it and pick one at random!
Shit. I knew this was gon be good
Good vibes bro❤️
Vs Cycle 7?
I prefer the cycle 7!! But the two are damnnnnn close
f the switches what cam u using?
Xh2s babyyyyyy
hi anzel
Hi beautiful ❤️
i dont think it CAN be called a budget pricepoint atm. If it's over a 200 pricetag and you know, does the basic well enough like you said, i personally would call it entry instead. Its a good basic board, for every sound profile you can try, but maybe not to the point its on the budget side? Honestly budget generally means the amount of money you've set to and alot of people tend to set their amount atleast below 250. So this personally i would call it as entry, pricepoint based. For the board itself, sounds great without and with foam nonetheless. And can compete with other budget boards aswell. Or the best, as you say haha! Great board nonetheless, but i wouldn't really agree with the price considering the competition today :P
nice build btw, and video overall, love em!
200/250 was considered budget for a very long time in the hobby and then came the envoy/neo65/cycle7 etc. So I agree with you. It's no longer considered budget that's for sure.
@@user-tb2uz5mu8l yes! I agreed with you too on how the budget was considered in this expensive hobby haha!
A lot of the comments have me rethinking my approach to that word, so watch out for a followup video!! It’s an interesting discussion!
@@AnzelLmao will be waiting for your opinions on that :D
@@AnzelLmao$200 is twice as much as most keyboard enjoyers will spend on their first mod and first build
Calling a keyboard kit that is over $200 budget... idk about that. If you really want a budget TKL look for the WK870, CNC aluminum kit for $59. Now the board isn't perfect but for that price it's unbeatable.
I just bought it to see what it’s like LOL
@@AnzelLmao nice, you gonna make a video?
whewwwwwwww
❤️❤️
I feel like budget is like 150 below and mid range is above that, there are prob some good boards for at least 150 that feel the same that are actually budget like the womier sk71 or even the cidoo v75 that are both aluminum cnc builds
Definitely doing a followup on what budget means!!
Hmmm where was this filmed HAHA
Das crazy cause you know where it is HAHA
sure it's nice but this $215 is considered budget? Damn mechanical keyboards hobby is expensive huh?
It’s definitely an expensive hobby! But I need to reevaluate what budget means haha
You call 250 budget? Lmao
and yes i know custom keyboards are expensive but still doesn't make it "budget"
I have a followup video on exploring the idea of what is “budget!” I talk to several community members, both old and new on what they believe budget is because of the comments on this video. It’s my neo65 review!! Up to you if want to check it out! But tldr we decided $200 and under for all the parts is the new budget. All things are relative, so it’s important to not compare customs to mass produced prebuilts:)
EARLY GANG LETSGOOOO
love the field view
Thank you bro!! GANG GANG
"budget" lmao. No, dude. *for most people^ paying almost 300 USD before shipping and taxes for a keyboard does not constitute "budget". Not even for a custom keyboard. Sorry but no, this is not budget, I don't care how used you are to GBs starting at 500 USD.
Hi! Please don’t spread your toxicity like that! I have an upcoming video about this topic, but feel free to go through the other comments and replies. I appreciate discussion and am very open-minded towards differing opinions, but please don’t be toxic! This is an ever-changing hobby filled with constant change and innovation. I’m bound to have outdated opinions, and there is a lot of nuance to this topic that isn’t easily conveyed!
@@AnzelLmao hey, thanks for the reply. I realize I come around as a bit of an ass but it's kinda triggering to hear someone call a 300 USD keeb "budget". Maybe the hobby needs a word that better conveys what a lot of people mean when they say "budget". Maybe I'm too new to the space and am not used to +600 USD Group Buys, I paid over 300 for the Zoom75 after shipping (added extras and it is a SE) and I feel it was anything but budget. Maybe I'm just too poor for the hobby. Anyways, thanks for keeping it cool and I eagerly await for your upcoming video about the topic!
@@el10leo hey man it’s totally fine!! I actually really appreciate your response, really! And I’m regards to your frustration honestly I totally get it, I don’t really blame you. It’s a ridiculously expensive hobby and there are a TON of unjustified price hikes.
That being said you’re not alone in your opinion!! And I’m kind of in agreement with you especially after talking in person with a ton of enthusiasts- the space is changing (for the better), so honestly I’m just waiting for the day where what was once a $300 board can be slashed in half!!
