  • robertkeeley.c... The four modes of operation are completely new for the Red Dirt Mini. The pedal’s base-line tone is configured by taking the bottom plate off and adjusting the DIP switches. These switches allow you to change the clipping diodes which give you either a more compressed sound, or give you a more open tube-amp like sound and variations in between. The different overdrive styles are: Distortion, Overdrive, Crunch, and Amp. Going from the high gain Distortion Mode where you have 2 to 3 times screamer gain, they give you progressively cleaner, more open and bolder sounds. The Red Dirt Mini is huge on tone and flexibility.

I could seriously listen to your playing all day long Mike. You should put all of your demos, jams, etc. on iTunes for all of us to enjoy and be inspired by!

Mike, the best thing Keeley has shown me is your sweet work on the guitar; thank you.

First tune is Boogie Stop Shuffle by Charlie Mingus, funkified! Took me a while to figure out where I heard that melody at 0:37.

    Nice!
One day I'm going to build a pedalboard of strictly mini pedals.
This will be one of the pedals on board.

Ligerally one of the best drivepedals out right now still I still like most of the less driven drive pedals with those sweet tones but thats what I love about this 0edal has just enough warmth and still has that snap and stringy tone and you can clean it up with sone drive still in amp mode its just amazing then add the katana just for the boost its just an amazing combination kelleye has there stuff down and all okf there pedals meld well together I really really like there pedals Ij want the red dirt and the katan so bad and still yet havent gotten it bjt I will its next on my list

Nice! As usual, I enjoyed the video as much for your playing as for the demo of the effects. I'm curious, though - are those all your own arrangements, like for the Mingus tune or Mr. Mustard? They're really good.

Lovin this - is the mini sound inferior to the bigger pedal or just a bit different? Is the big pedal worth the extra? Thanks a lot.

Anyone know if there is any difference between the circuits of this version and the earlier red dirt mini? The tone, level, and drive knobs are all the same, instead of the oversize drive knob and mini tone and level knobs

Is this effective as an always on pedal? Clean boost? Like the ep booster?

Got my one today, just had a play around with it and it sounds great, that is until I cranked the drive and volume and got a radio station (Nigel Tufnell territory) also there is a pulsing hum when the guitar is turned down. The paint finish is atrocious with scratches and dust underneath the top coat and what appears to be a thumb smudge in the paint. QC is very poor. I want it replaced.
