There was a desecration at the Ramleela Grounds in Tarouba Road at Marabella on Sun 22nd Oct, 2023.

The Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha (SDMS) is calling on police protection during religious periods and at places of worship in T&T following the desecration at the Ramleela Celebration Grounds in Tarouba Road at Marabella on Sunday 22nd October, 2023.
• The incident is said to have occurred around 4:20am and a tent was stolen from the site.
• An effigy of Ravana which was built in preparation for the last day of celebration, was also destroyed during the ordeal.
