i thought the joke about bingo saying stuff like "keep the bandages on for 11 years" and bluey saying "see you in 15 months" was a joke about how kids dont understand how time works and how long it takes to heal/to see a doctor, but i think it makes sense for it to be a joke about how bad the medical system is
I kinda get the feeling at home Honey's parents push educational games and educational toys, which could be why she struggles with imaginative play. She's used to toys that make her think critically about a situation and come up with an answer rather than making up scenarios.
This is one of the cutest episodes in the series, the amount of different fun ways we see the kids get “ill” is super cute. I also love how they run of lollipops eventually and the change of expression when they didn’t see one. There is always something going on with the background characters and I love that
It's a bit ironic how Honey, despite being relatively less imaginative than her friends, is the funny one of the group, especially juxtaposed with her more prim and proper look
I think that's how her imagination is expressed differently, it may not come immediately to her in most games but if a game involves humor then that's how she'll shine :)
Honey actually reminds me of myself when I was a kid, needing to be prompted to be more creative. I'm glad the friends and adults in my life pushed me to think outside the box more, like Bluy does.

When I told the doctor how long it had been like that she goes: "You've waited FIVE months??" I was just like *shrug* "...yeah....?"
I'm pretty sure it's 'I cuddled a cactus', that's something a kid would come up with for sure. Struggling to grasp imaginative play is a common trait of autistic kids, so that could be something to think about with regards to Honey's character

It’s interesting being married to someone who grew up in Australia while I grew up in America, just the culture differences. Often in America you can be seen by the doctor more or less right away but you’re gonna be paying out of your mouth for that sprained ankle. Too bad we can’t find a happy medium in which people can be seen quickly but it also isn’t too expensive.
