You can tell he wasn't completely satisfied with how it went, but considering this was a four month turnaround after being put out, really impressive.
at high altitude too against a the former champ of 205. I do think it affected Jan more.

@@MistanyycguyI don’t think Jan was effected more, he was trying to hold Alex down for 6-7 minutes which I can imagine is exhausting asf. Jan held the body triangle in very inefficiently, he was carrying his own weight as well, it gassed him out badly. People need to realize this. Even if the fight was in Poland I can imagine Jan would be gassed asf after the grappling he did in the first, maybe not who knows.
I hope this kid becomes the champ at 205 as well. Nolan's Oppenheimer was very entertaining and it's nice that he attends the UFC events as well as a translator.

@@blablablaa14 Jan just wasn't prepared for the altitude and heat. You can see the difference in gas tank vs Izzy and Pareira. Also Izzy was 30 pounds lighter than Alex when he fought Jan. Izzy is not a natural light heavyweight whereas Alex is huge for both weight classes lol.

Izzy got one good win but now Alex has washed the only other guy to beat Izzy and Alex will keep bullying Izzy until the trilogy. Eugene Bareman ain’t never letting Izzy get in front of this man again though…….

Get that title, Champ. Poatan vs Jiri is going to be crazy, Jiri is a different kind of striker that even Poatan has ever fought, but he is still the most elite striker in mma so another signature KO will happen.

Alex had a tough test with Jan grappling especially at altitude. Had it been a 5 round Jan would have certainly Ko'ed Jan. As he was looking sloppy.

I think that Jan being one of the best in the division just shows how bad the division is. Jan would have nothing to offer to the greats of that division like Bones or DC. Its just a weak division outside of a couple of guys

I'm a huge fan of both fighters and was truly on the fence as to who would win this fight. But Alex Pereira won hands down amongst everyone who was watching where I was in New Zealand.

@@adammiller8597 Pereira survived on the ground whilst taking no damage, and making his way back to his feet. The stand up advantage was clearly in Poatan's favour and he had Polish Power on the ropes. If you know anything about scoring, then you would know that control time counts for fk all.
What was it about the fight you think that made Jan gas so hard? I've never seen him so out of breath and tired
