  • Benelli Tornado (TNT) 125cc | REVIEW
    The Benelli TNT review comes from someone who used to own a Grom. What's it like? Max Speed? suspension OK?
    If your looking for a new 125cc that is easy to handle and an easy bike to ride ( Hmmm??) then take a look at this video and my thoughts on it.
    Thanks in advance for watching. If you have any questions then place them in the comments below and I will try and will let you know the answer.

    I did my CBT on a Honda CBF125 but decided to buy the TnT as my first bike having never ridden one. I can’t tell you how much of a smile it puts on my face when I ride it!! I use it to commute and leisurely and it’s just so much fun and so easy to filter with! Highly recommended! If you do buy one there’s a really useful and active UK owners page on FB too.

      Had this bike for a month now, done over 600 miles, only problem I had was with the headlight and high beam blasting into the trees, lucky there’s an adjustment screw.. apart from that no other problems.. awesome little machine.

    Short bike = good for stoppies and wheelies ! (and with the indicator switch in the correct position 👍)
    The "rider triangle" looks to be better than most bigger bikes.
    I might get one for winter use as, being 6'4'', my knees could keep my ears warm.

      C Cooper you will be fine,I sat on one a couple of years ago when I was looking for a new bike,the owner of the shop asked me to sit on the TNT when I was looking at it, and at 6ft3 with a 34 inseam I was surprised at how comfortable it was,I was very tempted to buy this bike but ended up getting a hanway scrambler as I thought it would be better for commuting. I’m still tempted to get one to stick in the bike stable.

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  Před 4 lety +1

      Jason, what do you think of the Hanway. I don't know much about them but they look good. Chinese? Any issues on it and what milage have you done?

    • @jasonclarke7422
      @jasonclarke7422 Před 4 lety +1

      exeter rider the Hanway Scrambler 125 was a good bike,but being Chinese I always had that niggle in the back of my mind about longevity and getting spare parts if and when needed,I’m sure it would have gone on for years,but always owning Japanese bikes in the past I never felt this way before,so ended up selling the bike,I’m sure it was a age/mindset thing.at this present time I’m thinking of getting a scooter,(fed up with oiling & adjusting chains) but not sure which one to get,looking for something that can do 70 mph tops to keep up with traffic,so possibly 200cc,but there does not seem to be much middle ground between a 125cc and the larger cc maxi scooters,if you have any ideas or suggestions they would be appreciated 👍

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  Před 4 lety +2

      Yes its a tough one with the chinese bikes isnt it. The bennelis are good bikes- really good and although the spares are avaliable and stocked in the UK it sometimes pends on the dealer to how complient they are and if your dealer is close by. I totally get what you mean its a tough one. Scooters right well the BMW 400 range is fantastic to ride - all this pends on your budget and what you want to do with it of course. The Forza 300 is a nice looking machine and a happy medium and good on the highways once the screen is sorted out and your not too tall. All depends what you will use it for really.

      exeter rider I don’t want to spend a large amount as it’s just for a bit of fun for commuting on a nice day (30 mile round trip) I have the car as my main transport,but really just wanting something with a bit more power than a 125cc to go a bit faster on Dual carriageways.i was looking at a Sym Symphony st200 which is 169cc in reality but again I’m not sure of parts availability also Peugeot do a Belville 200 which I need to look into.if you get the chance to review these,I would be interested in your thoughts on them.

    @miketurnbull7410 Před rokem

    Enjoyed that very much, thank you. Your presentation style is really good - relaxed, clear and informative. Not a criticism, just an observation, the review is clearly city-centric and primarily aimed at what is undoubtedly the main market for this great little bike - young people and new riders, maybe commuters. There is another part of the spectrum. I'm 66, with a bad arthritic hip (due a replacement in New Year) and live in rural Northumberland. I have other bikes, but can't use them at the moment, so the Nellie is great for me - small and light, easy to move around and get on, as well as being great for the many small twisty back roads we have here. Anyways, a good, straight review, so, I look forward to watching more so have subscribed. Top job!
