It don't madder how old you are you have a goal you set your goals you went after the one you wanted,, I for the first time in my life I have gotten promissory to hunt on a big piece of property and I'm going on to be 50,,where I had to hunt public most of it,, great job congrats , it's almost July and that's all I can think about is hunting, getting out to the woods,,

After a big 8 that is exactly like this buck besides the size and its on public land. He let me see him 3 times last year and everyone else had only seen him once. I spent all of last season tracking and finding his areas but never went down the same paths. This year I'm praying he didn't get either poached or ended up road kill.
These kind of videos show reality.You are very lucky to have experienced ups and downs as such because that's how your ability to keep patience at the front of your game grows. I can relate and have been lucky enough to grow my patience and allow big deer to get to the size I hope for.Congratulations !!!!!! So glad for yu guys and I hope you have more of these type of videos to share.Back when I had a great place to grow big deer I would have loved to videotape my crushers that I killed but to my own fault didn't make it part of the hunt like so many are today.and couldn't afford equipment to do it.thanks so much for sharing Creek king. I've watched this video at least 10 times now at least probably more. This is my favorite vid you guys have made. I love the prayer u said Jus right before u shot him. So heartfelt man love it.

Just some advice I’ve been hunting over corn for years. Try to put your corn at the base of a big tree 25-30 yards away with a shooting lane. For one the deer will be facing towards the tree, keeping their eyes off of you. For two most of the time they are going to come in from the sides giving you a broadside shot. Congrats

Can’t elaborate enough on your patience and hard work you did for getting such a magnificent buck. Patients is a virtue and young man I can see you have got that in you. I’m 54 this year and haven’t had the chance for a 180 inch buck, have gotten a lot of 140’s, so maybe this year will be the year. Enjoy your time with your family as well, lost my father in 2019 and it’s been hard hunting because he was my mentor with every hunt since I can remember. What I learned from this is blinds can work .I hunt from both and I prefer the ground blinds because they are safer and more comfortable yet heard guys say "You will never kill a trophy buck from one . I killed an 8 point from mine at 6 yards . I do place cedar boughs inside on the floor to cover my scent . Smells great too .😊
They work for sure! Every mature buck is different but this worked for us beautifully!
