I lost my MOM on 10-22 ... I was blessed to be holding her hand... She was my world
this was the first song I ever heard Blake sing , I knew then he was something special
My mom used to tell me the same thing. "I don't care how old you are, you'll always be MY baby." She's been gone nearly 21 years, and I miss her every day. This song really hits me hard.
This song always makes me cry., My late husband was 23 years younger than his oldest brother and 13 years younger than the one closest to him. His mother always called him her baby. In high school when his friends picked him up to go out she always told them to “take care of my baby”.
I was my Daddy's baby. I didn't get to say goodbye to him and this song always brings on the water works. My sister and I are caring for our Mama. She isn't in her right mind anymore but I still make sure to tell her multiple times a day that I love her as does my sister. I couldn't take not having a proper goodbye with her too.
My husband is the baby of 6 boys. My beautiful mother-in-law was taken by that dreadful Alzheimer's disease Miss her so much.
Not usually into country music but it is Blake Shelton❣️ I’m also a baby and I’m crazy for my Mom🥰 She’ll turn 90 years old this Saturday and we will thankfully party with her one more time. Cherish your people while you still have them. Thank you for this🥲❣️
you are so lucky
@@williamrothermund7705 I truly am. She’s made it to 91 and still going strong and my brother and I do not take her for granted.
I lost my mom in 2020 and i was blessed to be there with her when she took her last breath very heart breaking
I’m really shocked I never heard this before because I know Blake Shelton’s music so I thank you for sharing
I love Blake Shelton. I connect to so much of this song. I had to say bye to my mom over the phone, I was so far away there was no chance of getting there. I had planned a trip home and had tickets to fly in for Christmas, she died just after Thanksgiving as the result of cancer treatment drug reactions. She called me baby all my life. This song and a few others really get to me.
I was with my mom when she died from lung cancer, I'm grateful for that at least.
My daddy died when I was living on the mainland with my husband and kids. I got the call from my sister the day he died and had to fly home to Hawaii by myself (we were in the middle of another Army transfer and my husband kept the kids because they were 4 & 5). I cried all the way home from a 10 hr flight. I was always my daddy's baby.
We are flying to Hawaii at the end of the week because my mama (80 yrs old) has dementia and I have to see her before she completely forgets me.
This song touched my heart to the core. I'm the youngest of 8. My Mom always said, " Doesn't matter how old you get, you'll always be my baby." Mom was in a home the last couple years of her life and she always introduced me as her baby. She passed away at the age of 95. Oh how I wish I could hear her say that one more time.💔
Shout out to all "the baby's"!
Forgot about this song, makes me cry every time, I didn't get to say good by to to may people in my life. They knew how much a loved them and appreciated them, so at least i know that.
This song came out right before my mom died. I’m so thankful I was holding her hand when she left this world
This was Blake's 2nd Number 1 hit.
His vocals are so beautiful in this song.
Hard not to break a tear in this song, with the harmonica pulling at your heart.
And family stuff just does that. Actually lost my Mom 20 years ago today. I think that this is a message from her.💕
Great reaction Craig. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Mary sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom coming up on 21yrs so I feel for you and the same today. I was her "baby girl" and got to speak to her on the phone earlier the day that she died. When my dad called me not even an hour later to tell me, I called him a liar as I could not believe it. I remember driving 80 from NY back to CO to be there with the family although she had already passed on. Maybe both our mom's whispered into Craig's ear, to do this for us. ❤ Much love and strength to you and yours.
@@elainevigil6128 Thanks Elaine. Luckily great memories help each day. I'm sorry about your Mom. 😊👍✌️🇨🇦
Lost my father two weeks ago.. and this song hits even hard now.. Love you dad sorry I didn’t say it enough when you were here❤
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Blake song!!
This song always gets to me because it hits so close to home for me.
My favorite song of his and I tear up every time I hear it.
Love Blake songs.
This song always makes me cry. It describes exactly how my daddy talked about me. He called me his baby girl. I live in a different state than he did, but I made it on time. The fact that my daddy, my hero died, was bad enough. But he passed on my birthday. I can hardly wait to see him again.
That is one handsome man (at any age)...and he can SING...love him...
I cry every time I listen to this.
When this song came out, I listened to it day after day, week after week on repeat, for like 2 months, because he was singing my life at the time. I was born in the 60's to an American/Irish Family, and I was born the baby of 13. My Mama was also the baby in her family of 9, so she understood the whole baby thing with a lot of older siblings, and because of that we had a very strong bond. I was her baby. About three years before this song came out, my husband and I moved our new little family about 200 miles away from our families, our home town. The distance was hard but not impossible to visit monthly, as we did. We live off a major highway here in the states called an Interstate, and the one we live off of is Interstate 80. Anyway, I got a call from Daddy one day and he said Mama wasn't doing good and he was scared it was the end. Within 15 minutes my husband had me packed and out the door, in the car, on my own, while he kept the kids at home so I could focus on what I was doing, and the whole way I drove 80. Both in speed and the name of the road. Long story short, I made it. Mom spent a week in the hospital after that and recovered, thank god. We didn't lose Mama that day, but we did 5 years later. The first time I heard this song was when it was a new release, and I was driving 80MPH on I-80, trying to get to my Mom before it was too late. This song hits me so hard every time I hear it. Even now after all these years. Thank you for doing this reaction and thank you Blake Shelton for making it.
Heard it a thousand times and I still cried right along with you
Blake - Some Beach (very funny) and She’s got a way with words (very clever), Home (with Michael Buble).
You never get over saying good-bye to Mom from my experience. It is never easy to say good-bye to those you love.
I suspect the same is true for a Grandma. What if you had a grandma but you were too busy to stop by to say hello. Then she passed away only a day later and you were too late to get there to say good-bye? How does one not get shaken to the core. You can't get those moments back.
Great reaction video, no words needed your eyes said it all
One of my favorites.
This song hits me so hard! Because I'm the baby and this song is true! My mom always protected me I could do no wrong in her eyes! Unfortunately she now has Alzheimer's and she doesn't remember anyone. This song brings me to tears!
I can never get through this song without getting choked up.
Dammit, you made me cry! My Mom has been gone for 16 years and yes, I was her baby. And rarely does a day pass that I don’t wish I could hold her hand one more time. 💙💙💙
Haven't heard this in aesrs while. Love it always brings tears. I was the baby.
Love this one, and Some Beach!
This song always hits me in the heart. It also brings up memories of not being at either of my parents' sides when they passed. Although, my Mom would keep telling us to go home when we would visit her in the nursing home during her final days. In my heart, I think she didn't want us to watch her die.
I've seen a lot of React-videos on 'The Baby'. It Hit the every single time..... You're not the first and not the last!
I cry everytime I hear this song ... I'm the mom of 4 grown adults and I can so relate to it! Thanks for doing this!
Hi Craig, I remember the first time I heard this. Work trip on I-4 (Tampa to Orlando) and nearly ran off the road. Had to pull over to have a cry. I'm the baby, so it hit me hard. My mom's been gone now for 30 years, and I was holding her hand when I asked the Dr.'s to turn off life support. This is my favorite Blake Shelton song. I requested it some months ago, so I'm glad you got to react to it. Thanks...and sorry for the "welling up."
I was tearing up some. I've always loved this song and Blake's dimples and eyes can melt a woman's heart. I have four boys and was close to 40 when I had my youngest son who is now 34. He always called me Mama Bear and still does every now and then and of course him being the youngest I've at times called him Baby Bear. Sweet times. Great memories. Thank you very much for the reaction.
Absolutely wonderful reaction, I am so glad that you don't edit out your 'almost tears', my eyes leak every time I hear this one. This one is just SO REAL and his voice seems to drive it right to the core.
I believe this was his first hit.
This is my favorite Blake Shelton song. I’m the baby of my family. So I can kinda relate. This song gets me teary eyed every time!!!
This song is actually from his 2nd album. "Austin" was his first #1 from his first album.
aww what a lovely emotional song by Blake . i believe lots of ppl can relate to it, im the youngest of 4 siblings and my mum called me her baby right up till she passed away x
Same here. I used to get upset and embarrassed when mom would introduce me to people as her "baby". Now, what I wouldn't give to hear her say it just one more time.
I love Blake Shelton! Any of his songs are great in my book. Love your reactions. Blessings 🙏
Another amazingly touching song is The Little Girl by John Michael Montgomery. Is has a beautiful ending. ♥️♥️
This song, Austin, and Ole Red were Blake's first three hits - and each one is fantastic. Austin was his very first hit - and still my personal favourite. Can you please do Austin next?? Thanks - and cheers from Canada! :) ETA - if you want a good Blake giggle - check out his video for Honeybee - awesomely fun song - and the video is hilarious.
Lost my mom in April and I was the baby. She died hours before I could get to her. Thank God I had just seen her less than a week before celebrating her 95th birthday ❤
As always this one is a tear jerker. Love this song. Blake's voice at it's best. Had to listen to it a few times. You must react to one of Blake's songs when he was rocking a mullet. lol. He's rocking a "faux" mullet in his new song, channeling his old style. Blake Shelton - No Body (Official Music Video).
This is me and my moms song and i cry everytime
I feel bad craig that it made you sad; but now y'all know why blake is where he is today 😉hug your mommas, daddies, grandma and grandpa's; dont take time and loved ones for granted😘🤠🤗
Some of those lines really hit home. I was the 'baby' and my mom would do that stuff, even after I had grown up. Awesome reaction.
This song gets me. My mom is crazy about my baby brother and I'm scared he won't be around when her time comes.
I always love your reactions because they're from your heart. Never change...we love you...
"Some Beach" is a fun one (younger Blake) - Who Are You When I'm Not Looking - I Lived It - I'll Name the Dogs and sooo many more. Thank you as always Craig for your true natural reaction.
This one got to me. Reminds me of my gma passing. Music is powerful. 💔
Blake has several songs I like (“Austin” in particular) but this one’s my favorite. One of my biggest fears is not being able to say goodbye, so it really gets me.
Another song I haven't heard in so long!
He has such a range of songs from hilarious to tears a falling, like this one!
Other genres have powerful and emotional songs but there's a much higher percentage in Country music.
Hillbilly Bone and Some Beach are good, fun songs!
Love this song
When Blake first came out, everything he touched was gold. I'd love his earlier music and still a good amount of his newer stuff
But his sound at the beginning was better
This song ALWAYS makes me cry. Such a sad ending 😢.
Man, this one can cause tears. It's gotten me more than a few times.
Whenever I took my Mom anywhere and we'd run into someone she knew she'd introduce me as her baby lol I sure do miss her 💔😘
Oh this song gets me every time! 😭
On a lighter note, his song with Trace Adkins "Hillbilly Bone" will give you the opposite reaction. 😁
Powerful song Glad you had the chance to review it.
I don't think I have ever see one hit you that hard. I always makes me think of my grandmother I was her only grandson the son of her only son and i was told after her death she kept asking where I was before she passed but I didn't even know she was in the hospital.
This is a wonderful reaction I think probably one of my favorite Blake Shelton songs again this is an old one is kiss My country ass. Another one that is great is Austin.
Another young Blake Shelton is Don't make me.
I can relate to this song. I'm my mom's baby, and when she died i didn't get to say goodbye because i was in the hospital just coming out of a coma. To wake up tho hear ur mom has passed his hard 😢
I love this song. I had not heard it in a very long time. Great reaction and it has been a pleasure watching you enjoy so many great country songs.
Love this song. Old Blake shelton is so good. "Some Beach" and "Austin" are 2 awesome songs and he sports the beautiful hair in both lol. Keep up the good work!
Beautiful
This one gets me every single time.
Thank you craig...been waiting on this; it's my fav song by him🤠🥰
I love all his song and this song hits hard, my younger brother was a mama's boy,we live here in Georgia and he lived in South Carolina and she was in the hospital and was dying but she held on long enough to see her baby, she passed 5 minutes after he got there 💔 Thank You for your reaction and I hope you and your family have a blessed day 🙏
This song always gets me although I'm not not the baby of my family in 2000 I got a call after working a 12 hour day that my mom was in the hospital and she didn't have long I got packed and drove 600 miles only stopping for fuel and 10 minutes after leaving her room she passed it was like she was waiting for me to see her one last time
For a total tearjerker watch Jason Michael Carroll- Alyssa Lies. So sad!!!!
Video is about to start but I have to say that that got you again with this one. Can't wait to watch this...
Thank you!
So hard to say goodbye to a family member!
I did get the water works... ugh. beautiful song
Blake looks to be about 12 in this video. Craig I knew what was coming I watching for you're reaction. I almost saw a tear
One of the best of Blake. So emotional, especially if you've lost your mom, like me. To do a change up, check out his SOME BEACH for a lighter song.
This is a beautiful song but man it’s tough.
My most favourite BS song❤️
I just lost my mom last month. I'm her youngest. This hit a little extra hard today.
So sorry! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@KittCrescendo I'm sorry for your lost my condolences to you and your family, I lost my mom last week (September 5th, 2022) at 11:42 pm she is in ICU she was 63 years old, & like u I was also the youngest.

@@KittCrescendo I'm extremely sorry for the mix-up I do hope your mom is doing well please accept my apologies.
@@kevinsharpjr No harm… Just wanted to make sure the right people got your prayers.
Blake did a song called Some Beach, funny
Touched my heart. You should check out his very first big hit called Austin
Th long hair & such beautiful blue eyes!❤️
beautiful song but so sad too
React to Blake Shelton over you- live in concert. He wrote this song about his brother who died in a car accident when Blake was 14 and then the same year that he released this song his dad died of cancer
l love early Blake. I still cry when I hear it. Would you please listen to his ex wife's song Tin Man? it's the version she did at country music awards.
This song still gives me goosebumps. Thanks for the reaction ❤
Not a Blake song but you should check out Joe Nichols I'll Wait For You.
You would Love Jake Owen....Starting With Me!!
Tin Man by Miranda Lambert live version from the ACM awards
Been requesting forever. Hope he gets to it sometime. One of my favorite songs. Like this song, always bring tears to my eyes, Both songs so beautiful & relatable.
I am missing a soul, yes. Still like the song.
You love story songs there's a new one out. By Hardy. Wait In The Truck.
A killer.
You stopped midway with smiles and I knew what was coming and just wanted to say I am sorry for what is about to happen. This song, every after decades makes me blubber every damn time. So however we go with more upbeat Blake. Try Hillbilly Bone, with Trace Adkins.
If you enjoyed this one ..you should really ,really check out Mark Chesnut " She Was" make sure to have some tissues ready.
I love your reactions ❤
Please check out HOME FREE’s
Trilogy recently released. Wrote by Austin
1- “Give me a sign”
2-“Stargazer Lilies “
You need to do a reaction to song called "Sixteen Sticks" by Greg Rider. It's a tribute song to all those affected by the Humboldt Broncos hockey team bus crash. In Canada 🇨🇦
Please react to more Alabama songs! Born Country and My Homes's in Alabama are good ones!
