Elegy (pub. 1948) by American composer Mary Howe (1882-1964)

A beautiful, orchestral elegy by a woman composer of note who wrote very little music for the organ, Mary Howe (1882-1964) was an American composer and pianist. This work was written at the request of her beloved son, who premiered it as well.
Performed in recital on 6 October, 2023, on the 1999 Fisk Organ, op. 111, at the University of Oklahoma.
