- We have lost a titan. From the moment David Dalaithngu graced the screen aged just 15, he was a remarkable and powerful presence. Actor, dancer, painter and proud Yolngu man, he walked tall in two worlds with grace, truth and humour. Now he walks in another place.
Thank you so much Mr Albanese. Your words are so important.
Thanks for your care and acknowledgement for Aboriginal Australian's
Such a beautiful people .
I just showed my daughters last month the movie Storm Boy, I was wiping my tears away discreetly, so my family could not see .... there is something so special when he dancers...... Peace, love and tranquillity for David Gulpilil
Just beautiful. Thank you Anthony for caring. :)
Well spoken😢
Solid 👏🏽
I don't recall Morrison ever showing respect or honouring any of our Australian historical figures, heroes, influential people... he just doesn't care about anyone but himself.
Mr. Dalaithngu was a giant. Going from a 15 year old to a 77 year old and still active and still telling the stories of his people and taking many of us with him. He was not one of a kind, but
represented his people as they should be represented and introducing people all over the world to them. He will not be forgotten. Oakland CA USA 2022
Well spoken Mr Albanese, ALBO FOR PM!
A Prime Minister for 'all' Australians.
Thank you Albo, David was a great actor, and a wonderful human being - Rest In Peace...
A beautiful tribute to a beautiful man.

Big thanks to our Icon From His People back here in ARNHEM LAND ❤️💛🖤 and for the Filming People and yep Our Culture is Still Rolling
Amazingly no mention of this (or much else) on morrisons CZcams channel and unlike Anthony's he does not allow comments. But I bet the taxpayer are paying for it. Promo is like all far right people, they don't like criticism. Great speech Anthony.
Hi 👋 everyone 👋 ☺️ 😊 🤗 💓 💕 👋 ☺️ 😊 🤗 💓 💕 I miss the Australian day
Milk it Albo. Gulpilil passed on country? Or down south?
.......Except that we *NEVER* knew him as "David Dalaithngu", we knew him instead as David Gulpilill. No disrespect intended but no-one's going to recognise that tongue-twister surname, "Dalaithngu", where "Gulpilill" is much more readily remembered.
That's true, but I think most people would get the gist. And good on Albo for actually taking the time to deliver the respect David deserved. SBS OnDemand has a doco on him at the moment. RIP David Dalaithngu.
Albanese next pm I'll give labor a chance and my vote because of gough witlam ending the Australian white policy cause my parents came here worked hard and gave birth to future Australians Bob Hawke created medicare and centre link to keep Australians bright and not in the dark or in poverty the liberals like Scott Morrison I will not allow to run another term or see him make rules after rules and keep us australians down f scott the lier Morrison he has to go
