@@ThePickIeGodmost schools don’t allow sopranos I was told to switch to tenor by my teacher but I asked about soprano and she said they don’t make many middle school level songs for soprano so I went to tenor and love it other than the fact that I can hardly ever get my high g
I hit triple high F using that same concept, which mouthpiece are you on? I played it on my theo wanne ny bros 2 but playing that high on a classical mouthpiece is a whole different story lol
You keep playing like that you will be cold blooded and no time, bro I play sax as well. Love your execution. I can see you being a great player practice every day as much as you can and you will be an amazing player. Keep up the good work.
Very good, but the highest I've ever heard is from Valentin Kovalev. Also I've heard higher from John Edward Kelly in his cadenza to Concertino Da Camera.
I would say yes, but I had a once in a life time experience with an incredibly skilled saxophonist and he went up about 2 and a half octaves more than what’s capable with fingerings on an alto. Great job with it though, I myself have been unable to learn this technique.
I cam do double D on clarinet but only double G on Tenor sax idk why 😭😭 (i play a vandoren 5RV on clarinet and a Yamaha 4c on tebor both blue box 3 reeds)
The highest note I’ve played is just under an octave higher, but the note you’re playing still takes a lot of control to get out, and thats the highest I can play comfortably on alto. (we don’t talk about the tenor with the metal mouthpiece)
Might be! There’s a grade 12 in my high school band that plays his alto sax an octave (or even 2 octaves) higher (depending on the song) so when he plays, I hear all these extremely high notes.
im a sophomore in highschool and i managed to hit this exact same note and pitch on my baritone sax! (triple altissimo g for baritone sax) (i have proof)
Go watch Phil Collins One more Night live in Paris. How did Gerald Albright get that really high note at the end. He has an alto and I just watched a video on how to play every note on alto and it doesnt include those high notes he hit. Im very confused. Im a forner clarinet player and current guitar/piano player wanting to learn sax
Pretty good with little embouchure change! Do you ever practice scales, etudes, or jazz vocabulary in that register? When I studied with Lenny Pickett I was working flute etudes up an octave. I've since made sure to practice everything at least 3.5 octaves. Currently, my most advanced jazz saxophone student is practicing his symmetrical diminished scale patterns up to an altissimo E. I generally practice everything up to that double altissimo G. It's probably the highest note on alto that sounds like a note still. 😂 Keep it up!
Dang, that sounded like a clarinet there 😆
Opera
I love going high on clarinet but it sticks out so much lol
Fr ngl
Squeaky clarinet
Hey!
Jk it kinda did- a clarinet player
You're about to make a soprano sax player unemployed
Lmao
As if they aren’t already
My school doesn't even have a soprano sax player
I want to be a soprano but they are expensive as hell so I'm stuck with an alto
@@ThePickIeGodmost schools don’t allow sopranos I was told to switch to tenor by my teacher but I asked about soprano and she said they don’t make many middle school level songs for soprano so I went to tenor and love it other than the fact that I can hardly ever get my high g
You just casually went double altissimo. Crazy Impressive.
Thanks!
It actually goes even further up
Saxophones are fuckin wild lemme tell you that lol
Octave key in question.
BRO THE LIKES ON THIS💀
Hitting it without voice cracking is a challenge, nice tone
As an alto sax player, I’m blown away. So impressive! Your tone is also very nice.
@@AvaAustin-fx5yc thank you!
my man is js built diff, i dont think people realise how much practice and perfection this takes.
Dude your tone through that was impressive 😎
I thought bro was bouta play the national anthem 💀
Same the third highest note is most likely why
I love your music! It’s so inspirational and you’re an excellent musician. Keep it up!!! 💜
Dang double altissimo g is crazy
That last note sounds like the videos of that cat eating ice cream and getting brain freeze! 😂
You can go higher if you do the overtones from the high altissimo fingerings. I can a 5th above the G
I hit triple high F using that same concept, which mouthpiece are you on? I played it on my theo wanne ny bros 2 but playing that high on a classical mouthpiece is a whole different story lol
Joe, Kenny has the circular technique to reach the altissimo 5 D😮
POV: you somehow whistle into ur mouthpiece 😂
Now play low eb at ppp. Lol
Now play that high note at fff
Challenge accepted

INCREDIBLE WOW!!
damn spot on too
im barellllyyy able to get that high on tenor by literally biting the reed
I thought he was about to play the American national anthem
That was very impressive it made it seem like you switched your instrument you are so good at the sax ❤
Thank you so much!
I’m a beginner saxophonist and I didn’t know this was possible, teach me your ways 😭
It’s sounded like a clarinet with the range of a flute oml
Really well-done!
Thanks!
I play alto sax and if you know you know…the three did keys and register 💀
Isn’t that super high F?
@@thesharinganknight9859 Yeah I think so
As a young alto player I look up to this man
Been practicing altissimo for a few weeks now, and I’m finally starting to reach around that range!
Nice work!
Dude your tone is amazing
Highest I can play is a high F sharp. Nice work for being able to do it without crackling.
I’m a junior in high school and I’ve hit this note a few times. Good tone
That’s how high I can go on the clarinet lol good work
bros gonna take off with that note
I have experience playing the trombone for 3 years and I just got a saxophone 3 days ago , now my limit is high C
Very good, but the highest I've ever heard is from Valentin Kovalev. Also I've heard higher from John Edward Kelly in his cadenza to Concertino Da Camera.
Valentin is crazy
Double altissimo is impressive, I reached triple altissimo recently but double is a good place to start
flutes be like:
That sounds like a G. Very impressive.

As a 6th grader saxaphonist I thougt it only went to f# OMG ( octave key 3 palm keys top side key thing = f#) 😱
just... HOW???
Just good tongue position i can do a double altissimo e
Bro said range is just a theory 😂
clarinets: you sure about that?
I cam do double D on clarinet but only double G on Tenor sax idk why 😭😭 (i play a vandoren 5RV on clarinet and a Yamaha 4c on tebor both blue box 3 reeds)
woah as a percussionist that's impressive u didn't even look you were struggling all too much
the fact that rivers just kept playing his guitar shows his true dedication
The highest note I’ve played is just under an octave higher, but the note you’re playing still takes a lot of control to get out, and thats the highest I can play comfortably on alto. (we don’t talk about the tenor with the metal mouthpiece)
I can actually do that jaunt finally something I see on social media I can actually play holy fucking shi
That tone is crazy
Awesome! Keep up the great work!
Thanks! Will do!
So clean

I can hear the dogs coming already
Nah, the loudest note I ever heard was when I made my first Alto Sax noise with only full blasting the mouthpiece +reed 💀
sheesh Bruh that's crazy I don't think I have gone that high before good job
easier voicing than the lower altissimo register tbh 😭😭
It’s the fact I’m in 5th grade and going to be playing the alto saxophone
I can never get that high one out it always sqeeks😔
I like the saxophone
naw when my sax squeaks it goes way higher 😂
it’s so hard but i do it while warming up in class for fun
I played alto for 3 years and the highest p can go is altissimo A. Good stuff my guy
It’s giving soprano
I can go one octave higher by playing the overtone series of altissimo C
I don't usually go past altissimo c whenever I play that high. Good job
Honestly, I can play higher on tenor and bari, but it's always fun playing every sax I can.
Yes
Crazy work, Ive hit a double altissimo f on my tenor so i know how much work you put in🔥🔥🔥
Nice work!
@@tysmusic1125 you too, i cant go about 2nd octave C on my alto so your a goat👑
@@Micha31fr thank you!
I can feel my face muscles watching this
Lol
it’s not bad

I play trumpet and it is just weird watching you have no trouble playing those really high notes
Got to get you into my 10MFAN Mouthpieces!!!
I've played it to 😎

Guarantee that I can make a higher noise than that, here’s how: put sax sideways, than blow.
Nice job tho
Dang son
Yeah
Shit, I squeak louder
This is really cool but if you want to hear the highest note on saxophone you can find a video of Leo P hitting a note higher than this on a bari sax.
yeah it is :D
Wow that's high
Parabens Bro !!! Quais notas foram, foi subindo até FA# ?
I just wish the alto sax went two notes higher so i could finish the G blues scale with out it ending akward on that high F natural
Pretty good with little embouchure change! Do you ever practice scales, etudes, or jazz vocabulary in that register? When I studied with Lenny Pickett I was working flute etudes up an octave.
