I'm so glad you're exited for Havik, since this is THE Havik from Deception back in 2004. I saw that this completes the trilogy of bringing back -tailties. MKX brought back brutalities, Mk11 brought back friendships, and now MK1 brought back Animalities.

This Havik is pretty much the STRONGER version of Thanos and Fire God Liu. He collected those Kamidogu pieces in the comics almost 10 years ago and the multiverse story is making his return a real thing. Sick that they included that in the game.

Correct those are the Kamidogu. I get everyone referencing the infinity stones from marvel cause of the mcu but these things individually make the infinity stones look weak. After all together with Shinnok's amulet Onaga was able to survive a divine kamikaze from Raiden.

I have to say the praying mantis and pufferfish had to be my favorites.
The pufferfish expanding inside the mortal kombat character had on the floor laughing.
Preying Mantises don’t impale prey, but they do use their spiked arms to hold them down and just start eating whatever’s not being held down. They don’t really kill before they eat, but they’re usually so veracious that whatever’s being eaten usually loses something vital and dies fairly fast

3:08 - The kamidogus, a seemingly forgotten item used in MK for plot related stuff, but returning in this game and likely strengthens Havik (in MK, there’s one for each realm and colored after them.) Spoilers below for those who haven’t fought Shang Tsung in his boss fight for this Season of Invasions.
Shang Tsung transforms into Noob, Sub-Zero, and Scorpion from UMK3 and uses the skins for Sub and Noob that you get for pre-ordering the expansion, so he teased the reveal of this early (Noob also had his classic Shadow Ball and purple effects.)
Scorpion 1995 Movie skin is also free, don’t get me wrong it’s a small extra, but it’s a nice touch to older fans

The guest characters they chose are interesting. I'm cool with Conan. Ghostface, a lot people saw that one coming. T1000, I can't help but think how weird it'll be seeing the fatalities performed on him considering he can morph himself back together. Then again, so can Geras. Maybe with liquid metal blood, Reptile can finally get a break from the fatality videos.

The bigger problem about monetization is this is probably more on WB they have been pushing on their other games to monetize them alot and sadly the game creators kinda have to do it they probably push away the best they can but their defenetly limited
Yep. It’s all WB. How much longer are they going to keep the CEO in his position? He just lost them basketball on TNT and every decision he has made has been wrong and devastating 😡
Unfortunately they all do it now, Tekken and SF are just as guilty as MK with MT's with the classic outfits. In fact Capcom rips you off even more, their TMNT skins for your custom character in World tour mode costs 60 bucks or 15 bucks per turtle skin and you can't even use them online, just in world tour mode! It's ridiculous but I'm glad MK 1 are giving us some free stuff of late skins dropping the MK 95 skin is free, they gave us a free smoke skin last week and now animalities.

I’m glad Havik is getting his Time to Shine as a Villainous Threat Once Again as this Titan is Mad Chaotic and he creates a Dynasty better than Kang’s as I’m happy he’s excited to Unleash his Outer Chaos as honestly this New Universe needs Bloodshed and Mayhem, I Honestly Love these New Versions of Sektor and Cyrax that I can see Build Up in their Actions Going Forward and I love how Sektor acts more like a Cybernetic Fighter with a Load Top of Arsenal with Iron Spider and Iron Man Tech and Cyrax is like a Unpredictable Trick Fighter relying less on the Tech and more of Cunning Strategy and Martial Arts Stealth Kombat, still better than the Midnight Angels from Wakanda Forever, Havik creating Noob Saibot from using Geras’ Blood it’s actually creative as it’s possible Havik twisted it to be connected to the Void which could explain his Voidmancy and I’m wondering if he will get Redeemed and how will the Sub-Zero Mental will work? I can’t wait how his Precise will affect the Future, We finally got all of the Lin Kuei Members in One Roster after MK9, the Pre Order Skins are so Good I’m almost losing my Wallet, Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan will be Interesting Additions that I’m wondering how their Release Dates will Work, and we finally got Animalities Back after so Long in what I believe is 28 Years, Year 2 looks to be a Inpactful Event.

Conan is the one guest character I think many people today won't recognize as he was mainly a 70s and 80s era fantasy hero and his franchise hasn't had anything new since the remake nearly two decades ago. But I do know his comic books and movies had a big impact in as a major part of inspiring many fantasy franchises like Dungeons and Dragons. Something people forget because of the muscular warrior trope is that Conan is a very clever fighter and think he is all brawn and no brain like Vaike from Fire Emblem Awakening.

MK1 story expansion, Kombat Pack 2 and Animalaties are going to be the most insane experience for MK fans to love. 😭 also there been a rumor that Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming to voice Conan The Barbadian for this coming DLC. Since the Terminator was someone voicing in his place during MK11 Ultimate.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Awe yeah you're welcome and you'll be back to normal in no time! Yeah injuries suck, several years back I got tennis elbow took me almost a year to fully heal. I had to wear that flexible brace the one thats like rubber and not lift anything heavy for months with my right arm.
To be honest, I like that the villain of this continuation is Havik. Because that character has a good potential to be a good villain or so I hope. I also liked that the Animalities came back. since their last appearance was in MK Trilogy. and the truth is that the animalities in those games (MK3, UMK3 & MKT) were kind of ugly and absurd. but apparently, they have a good potential to be something incredible. Another thing I liked about this trailer, are the guest characters from other WB franchises, like Ghostface, T-1000, Conan, etc. The only thing bad I find in this trailer and that also applies to the previous ones and is that I don’t like the ideas of giving us characters that are iconic of the saga at a new fighter price. For example, we have Ermac or Quan Chi, who perfectly would have been better if they were in the main roster of the game. The only thing I hope for from this continuation is that it’s something good or decent. The other thing, I don’t know if you liked it but... it would be good to react to the endings of Twisted Metal Head On, or the stories of the characters of Twisted Metal Black. Besides, the two games I just mentioned were made by David Jaffe, the creator of the God of War series.
Yeah Twisted Metal is a franchise we plan to check out at some point, just haven’t gotten around to it yet 🤗
I’m interested to see if Ghostface will make any references to Fnaf mainly because of the fact that Matthew Lillard the actor who played one of the original two Ghostface killers in the first scream movie would go on to play William Afton in the Fnaf movie so I would love to see it they found a way to sneak in a reference or two to Fnaf

Seeing Sektor and Cyrax made me happy beyond beyond words. They’re even more interesting now that they’re women. Other than Sektor and Cyrax, I can’t wait to play as Conan and T-1000. As for Ghostface, I hate him but at least he can be the one I do all the animalities and fatalities too. Still, I love Sektor and Cyrax and I can’t wait to see them all in September and I really hope that Sektor can shoot missiles and that Cyrax has the buzz saw attacks and the special ground flip kicks and to also have at least one or both of them have pulse blades. Even if they don’t, I still call dibs on Sektor and Cyrax
