Whoever is merciful to me, will also receive the mercy of God
Both young and old be merciful to me. Men and women be merciful to me, as you continue to be merciful to me you too will continue to receive the mercy of God.
It is not by my strength or depth of knowledge but is God whom has shown me mercy.

This is me trying to interpret..not perfect but I want those who don't understand have a feel of the deep lyrics of this song.
"Eyonu simi" means be pleased with me
*Bad things happen to those who betray others
People are pleased with those whom God is pleased with
If you are please with me, God will be pleased with you.
Child with a crown of peace
It is God who makes a lazy person deserving of praise

Let me first acknowledge your excellent attempt. But kindly allow me to critique you a little :
*Child with crown of peace****........ 'omo alade' is 'prince'. So.... 'prince of peace'.
*Olee, in Yoruba does not necessarily mean 'lazy'. In this context, it is more like 'incapable, unworthy, abased etc . So.........'God honors the undeserving' or ' God uplifts the abased' or better still 'God glorifies the unexpected'.
*kinniun eyaa juda .....that's christian phrase.
*'Okin' is the peacock. the reddish growth on its heads is acknowledged as its crown as king of all birds. Hence 'Ade ori okin'.

The song lyrics says people should be happy with me because those who are happy with me, the almighty God will be happy with them. The beautiful crown of the peacock is not meant for just an ordinary bird. That I have gone this far, it is by God's grace. The lion of the tribe of Judah.....

@@olagunjuemmanuelayobode1990, I grew up hearing the sounds of Ayinde Barrister, Ayinla Collington, and others but there's none of them I like. K1 remains the only Fuji musician I listen to. He's also the only one I've watched live. When K1 talks, he sounds rhythmic. It's a pure gift from God.
