Buddha did not believe in flying. He believed in inner peace and overcoming the inherent suffering of existence. Y'all are funny though, but you aren't Buddhist in the slightest if you're just focused on something as silly as floating.
@@ti2218 I was born and raised in Nepal, country where the Buddha was born. I have learned about Buddha's teaching since my childhood. There are many levels of teaching depending on one's need and knowledge; living day to day peaceful life to Nirvana.
The introductory rule/mantra/knowledge promoted by Budhha in Buddhism is:
Buddham saranam gacchami
I go to the Buddha for refuge.
Dhammam saranam gacchami
I go to the Dhamma for refuge
Sangham saranam gacchami
I go to the Sangha for refuge.
This three simple principals helps people to live happy and successful life.
This means, you should always seek for Budhha(knowledge), practice Dhamma, which mean you should always help others, and join or surround yourself with the knowledgeable people. If you follow this simple principles you will be so much happier and peaceful.
Budhha is surely a popular yogi who achieved his enlightenment through the meditation or yoga but not the first one. His is not the first one to find the inner peace, but he is known for person who was determined to share knowledge to the world. There has been countless enlightened yogi before and after him. Sadhguru is one of them and he is also determined to share the knowledge to the world.
You can believe or not but yogi are capable of doing things which are magic for ordinary people. Modern science is nowhere close to the yogis teaching. You must understand that not all yogis are capable doing such things. It depends on one's knowledge and practices.
The ultimate goal of yoga is to prepare person for his or her Nirvana/Moksha, the highest peak enlightenment. When you achieve Nirvana/Moksha, you are release from the cycle of rebirth or your karma. You will become formless and aligned with the Brahman; the cosmic law or the god itself.

@@KevConnor123 it’s hard to because you are battling with what you believe to be the laws of physics. But in a dream anything is possible. It can help to do something in a dream that would force you to take flight. For example I sometimes dive head first straight forward even though there is concrete below in a dream so I am forced to fly. It becomes easier as you break the laws of what you would normally do.

Why dont you insteadof believing in Sadhguru or your Physics just go to such places and search for yourself, whether they levitate or no, whether such powers exist or no, What Sadhguru is saying is his experience not yours or mine, so if we want to know the truth we must go and get the experience ourselves. When I was young, 6 or 7, I remember trying to learn how to fly.
I would jump, I would use an umbrella, I would focus so hard till one day I did it.
I remember floating and staying in the air for longer than normal.
I showed my family and they shrugged.
Though Ive forgotten how to do it, I remember, and it was amazing..

I don’t have any proof. I question if it even happened sometimes, but I remember being so dedicated to levitation as a kid. Thats for sure. Even if the moment wasn’t physically real, it was amazing! and I just wanted to share that.

I'm no expert but i love the way he finished the speech. He seems to imply that the fact itself of "wanting" to levitate (or see it) is caused by the ego. Pursuing the desires of the ego is just a waste of time and energy.
Furthermore, he finishes saying that once you learn "to walk on water" then the next move will be to show off, but then again people will be bored with you quickly and pass by you with speed boats, which then will make you crave a speed boat too. If one does something to be validated by others, then you will never reach your "goal".
Not to mention the fact that if you want to do these feats motivated by ego, well, you will never succeed in the first place. You "could" do anything imaginable, but only by letting go of your ego. But once you leave your ego, you will not even care to do these feats. The feats happen "organically" through some sort of transcendence.
It saves time more if he can just levitate for a few second instead of talking that it's just a waste for a few minute. Just think a little. okay

I was trying to convince my wife subtly to lose weight because she is eating too many pakoras recently and I was almost convincing her till she saw your video and now she says she is not fat but she is "more available to gravity" and doesn't want to stop eating pakoras because she fears she will float off the planet... thank you very much!

Honestly, nobody will make up or lie about this kind of an experience - this just proves each one evolves spiritually at their own pace; depending on how much effort and desire they have. Also, different people will experience different paranormal albeit just in a flash - some can actually get to experience how levitation feels since to explain this to others is beyond words. I would believe one can have this experience.

He's actually trying to offer you another gift: To look beyond the surface spectacle of something like levitation, and see that ultimately it will not bring peace, joy, truth or self-realization to you.
His purpose with what he said is to help you not be distracted by impressive feats in this world, but instead to focus your time on realizing your true essence or nature.

And It also seems we are actually evolved for abstract forms of representation, such as stories, and not facts, for the most part.^_^

Whenever i start believing and trusting in sadhguru, he comes up with such inane statements. Humans including gurus have their limitations and cannot perform supernatural aspects by 'controlling gravity'. We doesn't have to feel limited by accepting the constructs of our physical form. It's much more liberating to accept the beauty of our imperfections in this universe.

Sadhguruji - spirituality is one thing, mysticism is one thing, getting goosebumps and wonder at the grand chaos and all the unknows there is - is one thing and physics and laws of universe is another thing. There is no way people can levitate unless there is enough helium in their stomach that would push say a lean 50 pound yogi to float a millimeter. Of course I am taking a big leap of faith here on behalf of Gravity as I do not know many things but if I start to believe in these things - I will soon start to believe in Ghosts, making the dead undead by a touch of finger, going to the cosmos and come back in a microsecond and eventually God. I worked hard to understand reality and throwaway all this magic - I am not falling for the trap again.

According to Physicist and consciousness researcher, Tom Campbell, levitation is possible if you do it in private where no one could see.
Sometimes, the Larger Consciousness System (i.e. God) allows you to break the established rule sets that dictate our physical world in order to show you the bigger reality.

Yeah but in Sanatan philosophy the ultimate goal is to achieve detachment and get liberated. These kind of supernatural feats are often considered disgraceful among yogis because it may deviate one from the path of liberation.

@Watch Swami Sarvapanandas video on experience, Yoga literally means union and is about seeking liberation by abolishing all boundaries. Of likes, dislikes, this and that.
This includes the division between subject and object.
To experience something there has to be an identity or subject which perceives something else.
In other words one should not learn these techniques so „he can have a nice experience“. Bliss,... is a consequence, but not the actual aim.

Demonstration of human levitation against gravity would certainly stop all the questions, doubts forever. Unless it is demonstrated how is it justified? There are magnetic levitation which is displayed by superconducting materials and the principles of this particular levitation is known.
Patanjali describes: do samyama on “relationship between body and akasha” and “lightness of cotton fiber”
Sadhguru can simply sit in a place for hours blessed with intoxicated as a drunkard but with complete clarity. Miracles are not about flying in air, curing homosexuals or turning mud into gold. The difference between any metal and gold is just the arrangement of atoms. It is not such get miracle to do it.

The reason for to be wanting to levitate is to be awakened to my possibilities and have a change in mindset from Impossible to I’m possible. I think levitation can really help someone open up.
To be fair though, if levitation is real, I don't think you can even see it unless you've already embraced the impossible. Also it may just be an hallucination because you believe in impossible things. It's very complicated to play with the rules of life and reality this way. I'm speaking from experience. I've been around the impossible, could have been collective hallucinations, you can't test it, because the interaction can only violate the collective belief of mankind in particular ways. It's subjective, belief oriented, and extremely complicated.
It's easier to talk stars into falling out of the sky, then it is to levitate, if you know how the mind works. But I shouldn't say things like that..

Ok, let's say it a hypothesis. Hypothesis you know right ? Someone claims there is a chair in a dark locked room. You neither deny it nor accept it . But you starts your enquiry, even for the stupidest claims,always by assuming positive untill prove wrong. And it is science. That's how science has advanced that much. If you start by, no it's not possible, flying in the air in a metallic object is not possible, never ever possible. That's right there, your investigation died. Human psychology.
This is one nobody will believe.. I went to sleep, i was almost in a dream state. in between sleep and awake lets say, suddenly there was a loud noise and i woke up. I fell down 2 feet from above my matras ontoo my matras. i was suprised i was in the air for a moment. I never could have do this on purpose. it was a meditation state i reached accidentally. even tho it happend only once and there is a possibility i hallucinated cause of the dreamstate i felled like i was on another plain of excistence. It was magical and weird at the same time. This was my first experience that made me believe my body is capable of evolutionary things. But to reach that same excact point of innerbeing is out of my comprehension. i can not do it on purpose as the first time happend by accident. But that control is somewhere in me. One time i even wake up with my hands together sitting on my knees as if i was praying. I do pray when im awake but i never put my hands together so that was weird also.
Little side note maybe im just crazy lol Btw if i could walk on water i dont have need for a boat :P

To be fair, the only reason why we want to do anything is because we think it will make us feel better. Thus the importance is subjective. If I can die happy wether I levitate or not, then there’s no real point in me learning to levitate. Now that is assuming I will die just as happy with our flying as I would with.

Everything i've heard him say in the past has been so believable because he never tried to sound magic and superstitious, it was all scientifically plausible. Once I see a human floating in the air I will believe it but this has kinda made me doubt everything he's said.

When I had my spontaneous kundalini awakening, once I came back after leaving my body. This loud energy / vibration that took over me got so intense that I started to get off my bed, that’s when I freak out and went nope! I think we had enough, now I understand through this video that what I felt was correct.

Read Sadhguru's Death book, in it he explained about the vayus, and particularly the Udana Vayu, when activated in human body, one is able to be less available to gravity to the state when he's mastered it, he can even levitate or fly ☺️🙏🏽

I have also felt it, it was bit more then dream, meaning I was aware that my body is sleeping in my room. It was creepy, one of few instances where I felt very scared. It happens when I was awake for some 54 hrs and then went to sleep. SO due to tiredness body shut down but mind was conscious.. scary
I had similar dreams, in one I was jumping and then floating very long distances and in another I was watching group of people transporting huge stones by levitation, they were just siting, but I knew they did it with their minds, weird stuff, dunno what to make of it

I will put it like this from my experience. Levitation happens when you know more about gravity and it’s purpose in evolving life. When you can perceive more about gravity in your conscience the low frequency dimensions can be easily controlled. The main problem is we don’t have to work for any of these capacity instead keep the system working full fledged so that what is required will happen as a consequence. Any power one wields is not to be used as a way to bring importance.

I found him to mean that it is a miracle to be at a level of spiritual consciousness where you can feel like a new born baby and wonder the life even in the death bed. I agree. I agree with the fact that ability to walk is wonderful. Obviously... But that was not the initial question. I disagree when respected Sadhguru ji questions that what is the use of such ability. Yes I agree that what abilities we have as a human being is still yet unexplored. The ability to walk and exercise free will and understand the significance of life is a wonderful part of human evolution. I respect all these learnings which Sadhguru himself preaches. I respect him deeply. But here he seems to be not giving the proper answer to the question. If a person has the ability to defy gravity totally ( not just raising our limbs up), that would be another dimension of evolution of human existence. Life could have been more beautiful. We could have used such techniques to replace the fuel based transportation system. A whole new dimension to life will open up. Think from economic perspectives. Such an innovation and the real life application of it could have changed the world as the invention of aeroplane, computers have changed the world. Economic stagnancy will end and a new beginning could emerge. If such invention occurs in Hindusthan, think who would be in comparison to us. And from perspective of enjoyment of life and spirituality, it will be a giant leap forward.

I have many dreams where I am levitating. It feels so natural and easy to do in the dream realm. I feel like we are suppose to have this ability but it's kept from us ( on this planet of gravity 🌏) After awaking from a levitation dream I feel very sad ,almost depressed. I always have a feeling upon awaking from a levitation dream that we have lost the ability to do it (while awake) and it was deliberately taken from us.
The dream has been there since childhood with me. It's not taken away from us, you need to wake that energy up. It's still there.

Day 3: their eyes start to open, so they see where they fly, but they can't hear, and can't talk yet.
Day 4: ears start to open. They listen every sound in air.
Day 5: mouth start to open, they speak to other humans flying.
Day 6: you are flying and from your left side you see an Italian grandma speeding up with a bag from grocery store...
Day 7: people start to carry bigger bags, trolleys, heavy loads, transportating it from one continent to another continent.
Day 8: improve what you did in day 7.
Day 9: improve what you did in day 8.
There is no way the physical body can fly.. Don't let anyone fool you..keep progressing
