How are all these reviewers missing simple point regarding lock for petrol tank. We can remove doors of thar for offroading. So if there is no lock option then any one can open the fuel tank and steal fuel.
This is a perfect car for couples who loves off-roading and for guys who travel the world with their friends but this is not a practical car for a family

The original thar was a wrangler with some engine mods .... so u get it ?
And the thing about overpricing ... IT IS DUE TO THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT TAX ..
Wrangler is not build in India , so the gov taxes 120% on its price to make it expensive so that the manufacturers in India can make trash and garbage like the THAR .

If your reference point for shifting delays is ZF gearboxes or DCTs than yes it’s comparatively slow, but for all the intended purposes including price and reliability criteria it’s not slow, it’s predictable. Thar is a lifestyle product not something which needs to be driven around like there is no tomorrow. A product should be reviewed considering it’s use cases. It’s like reviewing a JCB and saying that it’s top speed is too low and NVH levels are poor

The manual mode is restricted to first 2 gears because in off road situations you'd primarily use the first 2. Just trying to stress on the fact that this is a proper off roader
